In a joint statement issued by the World Health Organization and the World Bank on April 12,2016,the common psychological barriers are increasing in the world population.In 1990-2013,the number of people suffering from depression a nd anxiety increased by nearly 50.%,from 416 million in 1990 to 615 million i n 2013,the theme of World Mental Health Day on October 10,2017 is "Mental Health in the Workplace"(World Health Organization,2017).In adult life,most of the time spent on work,the World Health Organization study found that a neg ative work environment may lead to physical and mental health problems,many r isk factors of mental health may exist in the work environment.It can be seen th at mental health in the workplace leads to more and more common physical and mental health problems,and more and more attention is being paid.This study takes primary and middle school teachers as the research object,t argeting 2343 primary and middle school teachers in youyang County,Chongqing.The "Multi-Dimensional-Multi-Attribution Causality Scale","Job Anxiety Scale(JAS)" and "Life Events Scale" were used to investigate the individual attributio n style as a mediator variable,trying to find out It may reduce the mechanism of the work anxiety level of primary and secondary school teachers.The results show that:(1)The attributional style of primary and secondary school teachers is generally in the direction of internal control,and the more the attributional style is in the direction of external control,the higher the scores of the individuals are on work anxiety and negative life events.(2)There is a significant correlation between negative life events,attribution styles,and work anxiety.(3)Attribution style regulates the relationship between negative life events and work anxiety,and external attribution weakens the positive relationship between negative life events and work anxiety.(4)Gender regulates the relationship between negative life events and work anxiety.Women are more affected in negative events and generate more anxiety.The research results further reveal the relationship between negative life events,individual attribution styles and work anxiety,and provide useful insights for prevention of work anxiety.
