Investigation And Research On YCT Chinese Smart Classroom

At present,more and more people are learning Chinese in Thailand,and many primary and secondary schools have offered Chinese courses.Hanban institution in China also held the YCT test(International Chinese Proficiency Test for Primary and Middle School Students)to test the Chinese proficiency of Chinese learners.YCT(Youth Chinese Test)is an international standardized Chinese proficiency test.In Thailand,the Confucius Institute at Khon Kaen University improves the quality of Chinese teaching by following YTC standards.To follow standards institutions in Thailand use YCT standard Chinese textbooks and digital resources.YCT Chinese Smart Class Project has been set up in elementary and middle schools in North East of Thailand,they use YTC online and offline teaching materials.These were the early attempts of introducing YTC into Thailand,also,which is a pioneering attempt.Ten schools in 2018-2019 have been built and used YCT Digital Chinese Smart Classes for teaching,and continue to operate.Therefore this research examines teaching activity in ten schools located in the Northern East of Thailand that follow YCT standards.The study provides new insights on the situation of YCT Chinese Wisdom Classes in Chinese teaching in primary and secondary schools in Thailand.This study is divided into three parts as follows: 1.The establishment of YCT Chinese Wisdom Classes;2.The operation of YCT Chinese Wisdom Classes(including: classroom management Teacher structure;student structure and learning behaviour;course offering;use of teaching materials and digital resources;use of other supporting teaching resources;survey of thesituation of Chinese examinations;3.assessment and analysis of the current status of YCT Chinese wisdom classrooms.Therefore,based on the survey results,the author provides suggestions and solutions(including: problems in the curriculum and solutions,problems in the use of teaching resources,and problems in using teaching resources),(Solutions and problems in teaching staff and suggestions for solutions),and proposed the enlightenment of YCT Chinese Wisdom Class to Thai teaching in Thailand(including: enlightenment on the preparation of digital textbooks and construction of teaching resources,and the evaluation of Chinese teaching process and effect Enlightenment,Enlightenment for the future overseas Chinese teaching model)...
