The family,as a social constituent unit,is an important field on which people depend on each other for survival,mutual interaction,and emotional sustenance.It is also an important bond for cohesion of inter-generational relationships.Compared with the West,under the influence of traditional Confucian culture,the inter-generational interaction between our families is closer.Since modern times,the rapid social changes in Chinese society have spawned inter-generational change.Family members in different life cycles have their own brand of the times,leading to the inevitable outbreak of inter-generational conflicts.Inter-generational communication is an important channel to resolve inter-generational problems.Effective communication can not only enhance inter-generational feelings,but also create opportunities for self-improvement and change through understanding of another generation.In a certain sense,inter-generational communication is also inter-generational communication,which is the process of information transmission and feedback between parents and children.The middle school stage is a significant period for the development of individual socialization.In the new era of more mature globalization and marketization,inter-generational communication and inter-generational relations among middle school students' families have shown a new state and become a hot topic that the public is more concerned about.This research uses qualitative interviewing method and follows the principle of information saturation to conduct semi-structured interviews on 26 groups of middle school students' families.From the perspective of inter-generational communication,this paper explores the current situation of inter-generational communication and inter-generational relationship between parents and children of middle school students in China And cause.The research is divided into three parts: the first part,to understand the current status of inter-generational communication among middle school students inthe family,including the specific conditions of the communication form,communication topics,communication scenarios and timing choices.The second part clarifies the types and characteristics of inter-generational communication and inter-generational relationships among middle school students,and discusses the similarities and differences of inter-generational roles in inter-generational communication.The third part analyzes the reasons for the current situation of inter-generational communication and inter-generational relations among middle school students and the attempts made by parents and children to solve inter-generational problems.The research results show that inter-generational problems are common among middle school students' families.First,the forms and issues of inter-generational family communication among middle school students are diversified.The choice of different forms,issues,scenarios and timing will lead to different communication effects.Second,the current middle school students' families mainly include three types of inter-generational communication: pluralistic,consistent,and protective,and intimate,and gradually alienated.The development direction of the inter-generational relationship is changing with the growth of the grades of middle school children.Parents They have differentiated role images and common characteristics in inter-generational communication with their children.Third,the inter-generational differences in thoughts,attitudes,and behavior patterns caused by different times and growth backgrounds,as well as the traumatic experience and family changes in the growth of children,are the main reasons that lead to generation and deepening of inter-generational problems Through cultural feedback and strengthening empathy,the inter-generational barriers are closed,and the new coronary pneumonia epidemic is a special period of time.It is found that the increase in the time spent together will also improve inter-generational communication and relationships.It is hoped that through this research,family generations will be able to pay attention to benign communication,correctly understand each other 's relationship,and avoid excessive panic when they face inter-generational problems.Parents should give their children more room to grow,and children should also correct their attitudes and deepen their understanding and understanding of the historical environment.The two generations are constantly blending in communication and getting along with each other,learning and improving each other,and building a harmonious and democratic family inter-generational relationship that is more in line with the social development of thenew era.
