Historically,Chinese men's volleyball team has participated in two Olympic Games. The first time was the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games in the United States.Chinese men's volleyball team won the qualification and won the eighth place because of the boycott of the former Soviet Union and other countries. The second time was the2008 Beijing Olympic Games. The Chinese men's volleyball team participated as the host, and the final result was tied with Bulgaria,Poland and Serbia for the fifth place. From this point of view,China's men's volleyball team has not really participated in the Olympic Games by strength in the history of the Olympic Games, and it still needs to work hard to march into the Olympic Games. The reasons for the failure are worth discussing. This paper mainly uses the research methods of literature, expert interview, video observation, and technical statistics to analyze the technical and tactical effects of Chinese men's volleyball, combining with the technical and tactical statistics and observation analysis of the four negative games of 2012 Olympic men's volleyball qualification, five negative games of 2016 Rio Olympic men's volleyball qualification and two negative games of 2020 Tokyo Olympic men's volleyball qualification Statistics and analysis of the reasons for the loss provide data support for the Chinese men's volleyball team to achieve better results in the next Olympic cycle and subsequent competitions. The results show that: 1.The service effect is not good, the service is mainly guaranteed, and the service failure rate is high;the service speed, strength and aggressiveness are not enough;the service does not pay attention to looking for people and line, and the tactical purpose is not strong.2.The absolute rate of receiving and serving is low,and the ability of main attack to receive and then prepare for attack is insufficient.3.Spike effect is general, because the tactical play is not flexible enough, the rate of death is relatively low,the rate of being blocked is high.4.The targeted blocking is not enough.Against the highly dominant countries,China's men's volleyball team has a high rate of attackers blocking the front row;the ability to predict is low,and the ability to block again is insufficient;the blocking rate is low,and the targeted blocking the back row is not good.5.One attack and defense countereffect: due to the lower absolute rate of receiving and defense, the tactical composition rate is not high, and the scoring rate is relatively low. Therefore, the following suggestions are put forward: 1.Improve the aggressiveness of serve, the first pass rate, the ability of re attack, the more flexible and changeable smashing techniques to improve the scoring rate of smash, and at the same time, enhance the awareness of blocking and improve the effective blocking rate.2.Further improve the overall offensive and defensive tactical system.Improve the quality of three-dimensional attack tactical cooperation of back attack, and form "vertical Echelon" back attack with "forward flight","back flight","cross" and "garrison" tactical cover,so as to improve the scoring rate.At the same time of stabilizing the "one attack",we should strengthen the "anti counter" ability, especially the small ball anti counter ability.3.To improve the team's overall blocking and defense cooperation ability, tacit cooperation and mutual coordination,so as to stabilize the whole defense system.4.Innovate and develop new technologies."Fast","change" and "live" are the summary of the history and experience of Chinese men's volleyball, which should be innovative, flexible and characteristic in the process of inheritance and development.
