Research On The Construction And Development Of Provincial Traditional Sports Schools In Hunan Province

Traditional sports school is an important form of organising amateur training.It is fundamental in the tertiary training system of competitive sports in China,undertaking not only the task of providing talents for higher-level training schools and intermediate to advanced training forms in the tertiary training system,but also the role of providing models and guidance for quality-oriented education and school sports.It shoulders the dual responsibilities of "training talents and pursuing Olympic glory".It is not only can be used in schools to promote traditional,so that students' physical fitness can be comprehensively improved,and students' life-long sports awareness can be strengthened.Meanwhile,it can also make these student atheletes get better in their academic performance by making use of the advantages of the school's educational resources in order to make up for the lack of traditional talent training.Therefore,the author has done the research of traditional sports schools,to ensure that it can get more healthy development in this situation,and then to help promote the overall development of sports schools in Hunan province.In this paper,the author takes 172 provincial traditional sports schools in Hunan province as the object of study,reviews the development history of the provincial traditional sports schools,analyzes the regional distribution,phase of studying distribution and project distribution of these schools,and according to their present development status,investigates five typical cases such as Mingde Middle School in Changsha City,No.8 Middle School in Shaoyang City,Hutian Middle School in Huaihua city,No.1 Middle School in Xiangtan County and No.6 Middle School in Loudi City.The results are as follows:First of all,the history of development review: from the development process,provincial traditional sports school in Hunan experienced 3 stages: the exploration development stage(1986-2000);the normative development stage(2000-2013)and the healthy development stage(after 2013).With the deepening of China's fundamental education reform and physical education reform,the development trend of the construction of traditional sports schools in Hunan Province is good,The organization and management are standardized.Leaders at all levels attach great importance to the traditional sports schools declaration.In 2019,the whole province newly declared 28 provincial traditional sports schools and 6 traditional sports events,the number of which are new high in recent years.Secondly,the regional distribution: among the 14 cities under the jurisdiction of theprovince,Changsha,the capital city,has the largest number of licenses,as many as 33,and Zhangjiajie,the least,has only 3.On the whole,the regional distribution of traditional sports schools in Hunan Province shows a situation of more in the central and eastern region and less in the northwestern region.Thirdly,the phase of studying distribution: there are three types of stages,the highest proportion of which is high school,followed by junior high school and primary school.The distribution of Hunan provincal traditional sports schools in different school types presents an unbalanced situation,the proportion of school types is unreasonable,and the proportion of the structure of school types is inverted.Fourth,the project distribution: there are 18 projects in total,the most widely carried-out are track and field projects,among which there are a total of 137 schools,followed by 25 schools for basketball,23 schools for football,17 schools for volleyball,13 schools for martial arts,11 schools for orienteering,10 schools for table tennis,5 schools for Taekwondo and badminton,4 schools for wrestling,judo and swimming,2 schools for gymnastics,aerobics and weightlifting,and 1 school for tennis,rock climbing and canoeing.The above data shows the unbalance of the project development.Finally,the paper puts forward some effective suggestions for the development of traditional sports schools in Hunan Province,such as establishing a diversified management system,promoting the leaders' attention to the traditional sports events,improving the quality of physical education teachers,strengthening the scientificization of training,balancing the development of various regions,planning reasonably for the establishment of traditional sports events,adhering to the strategic policy of combining physical education with academic education,establishing a new training system for reserve talents,creating multichannel platform of the competition,expanding the intercollegiate contact,keeping in mind a clear and correct guiding ideology for running a school,carrying out the basic task of cultivating people with virtue.
