In order to promote the professional development of teachers and further build a team of high-quality teachers that meet the requirements of the development of the times,the Ministry of Education promulgated the Professional Standards for Middle School Teachers(Trial)in 2012.The Professional Standards for Middle School Teachers(Trial)is divided into three dimensions,including professional concepts and teacher's ethics,professional knowledge and professional abilities.As an important part of teachers' professional development,professional competence covers teaching ability,organization and management ability,interpersonal ability and self-development ability.The professional standard is a prerequisite for establishing professionalization of teachers,and also provides a strong basis for building a team of high-quality teachers.This paper mainly investigates the professional ability of middle school information technology teachers in Inner Mongolia and the current situation of normal university students majoring in computer science and technology.The survey was designed based on the professional competence of teachers in the Professional Standards for Middle School Teachers(Trial),and used survey methods such as questionnaire,interview,and observation methods to have a comprehensive understanding of the status quo of the professional competence of information technology teachers and computer science and technology normal university students in middle schools in Inner Mongolia.The survey find that the professional abilities of information technology teachers in the region have the following deficiencies: the teaching abilities are not optimistic,the teaching design abilities are insufficient,the teaching methods are simple,the teaching reflection ability and self-development ability are poor.The performance of normal university students in this major during the internship is unsatisfactory: in addition to the relatively single teaching method,the ability of evaluation and reflection is also insufficient,and the classroom organization and management skills shown are relatively weak.The summary and analysis of the current situation of the professional competence of the middle school information technology teachers and computer science and technology normal university students in this region can provide a certain theoretical basis and guidance for the development of professional competence of information technology teachers.At the same time,it can help students of normal university to better understand the current status and needs of the development of the professional competence of information technology teachers in the region,provide a reference for their own professional competence development,and promote the development of pre-service education for information technology teachers.Under the new policies and educational trends,middle school information technology teachers should recognize the importance of professional competence and continuously improve their professional competence.For colleges and universities that train teachers,they should strengthen the cultivation of the professional abilities of normal university students so that they can better adapt to the future teacher profession.
