Many students never contact volleyball before they went to university.Therefore,the promotion of volleyball among primary and middle school and the popularity of volleyball technology are our top priority.As the most offensive and threatening technical action in volleyball,volleyball smashing technique is a difficult teaching point for most volleyball teachers.This study proposes an auxiliary exercise for volleyball smash technique,which provides a reference for volleyball front smash technique.In order to further improve the teaching and training methods of volleyball spiking,analyze the mistakes of current players in spiking,explore effective teaching methods of volleyball spiking technology,and provide theoretical guidance for athletes to better grasp volleyball spiking.This paper will use the methods of literature,experiment and mathematical statistics to study the application of assistant practice of aerial high-point catch in volleyball spiking teaching and training.This paper takes the assistant practice of "high-point catch in the air" as the research object in volleyball spiking teaching;through drawing lots for 30 students of the general volleyball training team of 2017 grade in Ningbo University(the original number is 41,excluding girls and students who have volleyball foundation before the university,a total of 30 people).The teaching content of Volleyball spiking in the control group is traditional volleyball spiking teaching,while the experimental group is carrying out the teaching of volleyball spiking.On the basis of the traditional teaching of volleyball spike,and catch the ball in the air.Through different experiments on the experimental group and the control group,this paper studies the technical level of volleyball spiking presented by each group after the experiment,and analyses whether the assistant practice of aerial high-point grabbing plays a good role in the teaching and training of volleyball spiking.Research conclusions:1.The assistant practice of grasping the ball at high altitude in the air can strengthen the action series.2.The assistant practice of catching balls at high altitudes in the air can help students better grasp the hitting points in the air.3.The assistant practice of grasping the ball at high altitude in the air can help the students complete the smash better.
