As one of the most important tools for internet users to express discourse power,online media buzzwords have gone through 20 years of development in response to the rapid development of China's economy and the progress of internet technology.The online media buzzwords are not understood by the public from the beginning of their birth.They have now been interwoven with cultures and integrated into people's daily lives.Accompanied by humorous,simple and sharp language features affect people's language expression and social communication methods,and in many social events has influenced the public opinion,metaphor or clearly reflected the value of language symbols,public opinion,social psychology,cultural exchanges,and business operations.Thus,the network language is a kind of favorable social expression,but there is still bias and irrationality behind it.In the process of exercising the right of discourse,the user's lack of control over the symbolic meaning of the emerging language easy to cause overuse and frequent offside use,appears a trend of centralization of public opinion,and then causes the chaos in cyberspace.In addition,as one of the emerging expressions,online media buzzwords are still in a period of strong outbreaks.The policies and regulations governing management and emergency handing are not comprehensive enough,which has hindered the objective expression and communication effect of social groups to some extent.Therefore,in the age of Internet media where the use of buzzwords on the Internet is so high and the scope of use is so widespread,it's necessary to study the dissemination value and negative effects of buzzwords on the Internet,and to provide guidance on them,hope to provide reference for latecomers.
