Optical network technology has become one of the core information technologies recognized in the future big data era.With the development of optical fiber communication,the scale is increased and the complexity is increased.The management of the optical fiber transmission link consumes a large amount of manpower and material resources,making the maintenance of the optical fiber transmission link more difficult.In order to improve the efficiency of fiber transmission,some manufacturers have developed fiber resource scheduling equipment.At the same time,it is necessary to design a network management system for its equipment.Simple network management technology can no longer meet the requirements of rapid network development.The previous network management system is often a dedicated system developed by the manufacturer in its own network system.It is difficult for other manufacturers.The network system,communication equipment software,etc.are managed,and this situation is not suitable for the development trend of network heterogeneous interconnection.This paper is aimed at the difficulty of maintaining the fiber-optic resource transmission link,and the technology of the simple network management system cannot adapt to the development trend of today's complex optical network.The traditional network management system technology and network management protocol are studied,and the optimization of automatic discovery based on mDNS is proposed.Methods,design and implement a network element management system for fiber resource scheduling equipment.The architecture of the traditional network element management system is studied.The characteristics of the five management function modules of the network management are analyzed,including fault management,configuration management,performance management,security management and billing management.The SNMP network management protocol is also studied.It includes its principle and implementation mode,and also studies the management information base MIB,and improves and summarizes the traditional programming mode(decorator mode).The design of network element management system based on fiber resource scheduling equipment is proposed.According to the requirements analysis of the overall network element management system,the underlying basic operation design of the whole system is realized,and the design and interface design of the database table matching MIB files is completed.The functions of the overall network element management system include configuration of optical fiber resource transmission links,real-time performance monitoring,fault management,and device configuration management.The automatic discovery optimization algorithm based on mDNS is proposed to optimize the efficiency of the system discovery equipment,thus improving the overall efficiency of the network management system of the fiber resource scheduling equipment.This thesis studies the traditional methods of topology discovery and device discovery.In view of the low efficiency and difficult implementation of traditional discovery methods,it is proposed to use mDNS-based device discovery method to improve efficiency.It is confirmed by comparative experiments that mDNS The discovery device method saves more time than the traditional ICMP-based Ping discovery method,greatly improves the discovery efficiency,and improves the efficiency of the fiber resource scheduling device network element management system.
