With the rapid development of Internet of things technology and interactive application,the number of devices in the network is increasing.The development of interactive application is hindered by network delay.In order to solve the requirements of network delay,bandwidth and load,edge computing emerges at the right moment.Edge computing aims to realize cloud services by sinking cloud services from the core network to the edge of the network.Computing,storage,communication and other services can be realized at the edge of the network.Usually,edge cloud will choose to be placed in the base station at the edge of the network and share a site with the communication base station.This paper aims to study the edge cloud deployment strategy based on the m inimum task cost in the edge computing.We solve the problem of edge cloud deployment from the perspective of optimizing the task overhead of the device.We consider the task experience function from the time cost and energy consumption of the task,and then analyze the edge cloud deployment problem from the time cost and energy cost of the task.This paper aimed at minimizing the task cost,and comprehensively considered the time cost and energy consumption of the task,and transformed the edge cloud deployment problem into the optimization problem.Since the problem is NP-hard,we found the objective function of the problem based on the task overhead by setting constraints.For the mathematical model of this problem.this paper proposeed a deployment strategy based on equivalent bandwidth.According to the edge cloud deployment scenario studied in this paper,the edge cloud deployment simulation experimental environment at the Matlab 2017a simulation platform was established.In combination with the deployment strategy based on equivalent bandwidth and the marginal cloud deployment strategy based on comparison of deployment strategies,the analysis of experimental simulation results proves that the deployment strategy based on equivalent bandwidth proposed in this paper is superior to other deployment strategies in terms of evaluation indexes in terms of task overhead for terminal devices.
