A Field Investigation Of The Residential Inns In Lugu Lack Area From The Perspective Of Space Media

Located at the junction of Sichuan and Yunnan,Lugu Lack is known for its beautiful natural scenery and unique ethnic minority culture.With the development of ethnic tourism,the private fields of the local people have gradually opened to tourists,and the traditional residential houses have gradually evolved into today's residential inns.The residential inns are not only the embodiment of the exchange of traditional minority culture and modern urban culture,but also as a kind of space media,constantly spreading information to the guests in the space,constructing new relationships in the space and changing the meaning of the space.From the perspective of communication,the traditional dwellings turn into the inns,and while the space changes the communication activities in the space also changed,thus affecting the original minority culture in the space.In this sense,the residential inns can be regarded as texts reflecting the spread and change of national culture in ethnic areas.The present study attempts to explore,from the perspective of communication,how the residential inn space as media has changed and how the changes influence the ethnic culture.In order to solve the above problems,this study uses the literature analysis method to analyze the related literature and uses participatory observation method and in-depth interview method to collect the first-hand materials.This dissertation can be divided into three parts.The first part gives a brief overview of the minority culture in Lugu Lack area and the residential and inn space under the background of the minority culture.On the basis of the word "change",the second part adopts the spatial theory to interpret the spatial changes from the residentials to the inns from the perspectives of material space and social relations,and to interpret the changes of communication activities in space from the perspective of communication.Based on the above analysis,the third part studies and analyzes the dual influence of space media transformation on local minority culture:first,because of the cultural inheritance of space and the change of communication relationship in space,the residential inns have positive transmission for local minority culture;and second,cultural conflicts caused by multicultural exchanges in the residential inn space lead to the dissipation of national culture.The transformation from residential houses to inns has become a phenomenon that cannot be ignored in the development of ethnic tourism.In terms of cultural inheritance and dissemination,the residential inns are continuations and re-creations of the local dwellings.The spatial transformation is not only the result of the development of ethnic tourism,but also the trend which is related to the inheritance and spread of local ethnic culture.The significance and value of the in-depth investigation of this aspect is very prominent.
