Hundred Springs On The Mabei Slope Constitute Reservoir Conditions And Favorable Reservoir Distribution

Mabei slope area is located in the belt of transition between Western uplift and Wuxia fault belt of Junggar Basin,a southeast dipping monocline,with low amplitude platform,anticline or nosing structure in local area.This area is also in the hydrocarbon migration regional of source depression with good petroleum geology conditions and abundant resources.Triassic Baikouquan formation and Permian Wuerhe formation are contacting in the form of the large angular unconformable.A lot of reservoir has been found in the unconformity surface formation.Well Ma131 which is drilled in Mabei slope area obtained commercial hydrocarbon flow at the beginning of 2012.This is a major breakthrough after twenty years of the discovery of Mabei oil field in this area.And it promotes the exploration and research of unconformity surface of Baikouquan formation in Mabei slope.Through the studies of the structure interpretation,sedimentary reservoir,factors controlling oil accumulation and prediction of favorable reservoirs,this paper holds that the Baikouquan group in the fan delta front facies belt with a large area oil-bearing characteristic and reservoir controlled by structure,oil gas migration pathway,favorable sedimentary facies belt and lateral occlusion in Mabei slope.Reservoir is controlled by structure,oil-gas migration channel,favorable sedimentary facies and lateral occlusion.Structural setting is conducive to oil and gas gathering.Unconformity surface and deep fault system is the main channel of oil and gas migration.Undeformed structural slop-break zone controls distribution of the fan body and facies distribution.In view of the physical property of the gray green sandstone which developed in the underwater distributary channel of fan delta front is good,that is the favorable place for the development of high-quality reservoir.The three sides of the shield in the plane and roof and floor with a good configuration in vertical profile provide a good condition for large oil and gas accumulation.Under the guidance of the model that the fan body is controlling the large oil and gas accumulation,the exploration of Baikouquan formation completely break through.We have discovered multiple whole mount reservoir in the area of the Well Ma131 and Well Ma18.Totally,the reservoir of Baikouquan formation is controlled by the fan delta front facies belt in Mabei slope area.This area has good reservoir formation conditions and huge exploration potential.
