China's tourism industry has entered the era of mass tourism,and the individual needs of tourists have become more and more obvious.In terms of the side of supply,more tourism states have emerged.Food is not only a very import ant content of tourism activities,but also gradually becomes a tourism product with great development potential.Food-themed tourism activities are increasingly attracting the attention and favor of tourists.Food tasting tourism has led to the development of industries such as local agriculture,catering,accommodation,entertainment,and cultural industries,which has brought huge economic benefits to tourism destinations;it has also stimulated the exploitation of food tasting tourism in tourist destinations.Pingdu has rich resources of food tasting tourism.At present,the city is working hard to create a food tasting tourism brand named “eat in Pingdu”.Therefore,this thesis takes Pingdu as an example to discuss the exploitation of food tasting tourism resources and the establishment of food tasting tourism brand.This thesis mainly uses brand marketing theory,demand theory,tourism resources development theory and other related theories to carry out research on Pingdu food tasting tourism resources and the establishment of food tasting tourism brand.Based on a review of related literature at home and abroad,the connotation,characteristics,and functions of food tasting tourism are summarized and analyzed;then,the food tasting tourism resources in Pingdu are aggregated and categorized,and the food resources of Pingdu Tourism are collected and sorted out.Seasonal characteristics,spatial distribution characteristics,industrialization characteristics and cultural characteristics which possessed by the food tasting tourism resources in Pingdu are concluded.After that,the status quo of the development of the food tasting tourism resources in Pingdu is analyzed and the main problems in the process of development are pointed out.Based on this,the development ideas and specific measures for the food tasting tourism resources in Pingdu are proposed.
