The wide-angle Cherenkov telescope is mainly used to detect the energy spectrum of high-energy cosmic rays.The lens barrel is the main structure of the telescope,and its own stability directly affects the imaging quality of the optical component.Based on the design specifications of the telescope barrel,paper performs finite element analysis and structural optimization on the telescope barrel.Through geometric modeling of the barrel structure and its substructures,and reasonable simplification,the finite element model of the overall structure of the barrel structure and the finite element model of the independent PMT chassis support frame and the mirror support frame are established.(1)Gravity as the telescope barrel inevitably affects the load.Under the condition of the telescope in the 0~90° pitch angle of the telescope,the finite element theory is applied to the PMT chassis support frame,the mirror support frame and the lens barrel structure.The mechanical analysis shows the stress deformation and distribution of the above structure,which provides the necessary basis for structural dynamic analysis and structural optimization.(2)The telescope is working in the plateau environment,and the dynamic wind load on the lens barrel causes deformation of the lens barrel structure component,which in turn affects the imaging quality of the optical component.The modal analysis of the simplified telescope barrel structure is carried out,and the resonance frequency and mode shape of the barrel structure are obtained.The response results of the modal analysis and the dynamic wind-load wind pressure spectrum are input as inputs and loaded into the finite element(PSD).The module performs harmonic response dynamic analysis on the telescope barrel structure.The results of stress-strain distribution of the barrel structure under the influence of dynamic wind load are obtained.(3)After the finite element statics,modal analysis and dynamic wind-loaded spectrum response analysis,the lens barrel and its substructures get the weak link of the lens barrel structure.For these weak links,the structural optimization design is carried out.The structure is simulated and analyzed,and the new structure meets the design requirements.It provides good simulation analysis data for the stable observation of the wide-angle Cherenkov telescope in the plateau environment.
