For a long time,when analysing the electromagnetic scattering of electrically large-sized targets and target objects in complex terrain environments,huge computing resources are required.Based on the high-frequency algorithm,this paper uses the bouncing ray method based on the surface current method to analyze the electromagnetic characteristics of the airborne antenna,and the hybrid algorithm of physical optics and bouncing ray method(POSBR)to analyze the electromagnetic characteristics of the target where is in complex environments.After testing and verification,the bouncing ray method based on the surface current method can save computing resources and ensure the accuracy of the results when analyzing the electromagnetic scattering characteristics;the PO-SBR hybrid calculation complements the Physical Optics(PO)in solving some shortcomings of dihedral and trihedral structural models,but it has significant advantages in analyzing complex environments.Firstly,this article introduces the basic concepts of the ray tracing technology based on the receiving ball algorithm and the bouncing ray method based on the surface current method,then gives the basic flow of the two methods and explains the advantages and disadvantages of the two methods,and confirms by the angle Cone reflector case.Finally,using the bouncing ray method based on the surface current method to analyze the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the helicopter's antenna radiation pattern with its placement,the results show that the aircraft's propeller has a greater impact on the performance of the antenna,so in the initial design the airborne antenna should fully consider the influence of the propeller of the aircraft according to the performance of the antenna.Secondly,This article introduces the basic principles and deficiencies of PO,and then introduces the PO-SBR hybrid method.The PO method is used to calculate the induced electromagnetic flow of the rough surface,and the SBR method is used to solve the target's self-scattering situation.And through two cases to show the inaccuracy of the PO method and verify the correctness of the PO-SBR algorithm.Then use the PO-SBR method to analyze the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the vehicle in the field environment from two aspects,first of all,verify the correctness of the PO-SBR method in calculating the boundary conditions of the absorbing material,and then simulate the comparison results of the vehicle before and after coating the absorbing material.The results show that the RCS value of the vehicle coated with the absorbing material is significantly reduced.Second,discuss the different field environment factors and the altitude of the environment.The results show that the RCS value of the vehicle where is in the mountainous environment is the lowest compared to grassland,sand,woodland and beach environments;The altitude of the terrain where the vehicle is located is irrelevant.
