Oil and gas drilling is constantly transferring to the field of deep well,ultra-deep well,oil and gas well of high pressure and so on,which results in increasing challenge that the drilling engineering is faced with.As an unconventional technique,ream while drilling is under a sustainable development,the ream while drilling PDC bit has a broad development prospects.On the one hand,ream while drilling PDC bit can solve the problem of small annular clearance,large consumption of annulus pressure and bottom hole hydraulic energy insufficiency in deep well of slimhole drilling.On the other hand,with many oil fields in our country at later stage of production,improve ultimate recovery by means of window sidetracking drilling technology has become a new development trend.Due to the old well production for many years,in order to avoid hole collapse during deflection,need to use ream while drilling technology in slant section.Conventional telescopic reaming tools and RWD reaming while drilling tools there are obvious shortcomings,can't meet the requirements,using ream while drilling PDC bit become a kind of effective method of directional reaming while drilling.At present domestic manufacturer on the product design of reaming while drilling PDC bit is still in the stage of imitation of foreign products,there's no scientific theoretical basis for guidance.This paper carried out the study of the design of cutter layout of reaming while drilling PDC bit,the main research contents and results are as follows:1.Through the study of cutting mechanistic of ream while drilling PDC bit,I research the method of confirming the teeth's cutting cross profile of PDC drill bit with ream while drilling and calculating the areas of all kinds of cutting cross profile as well as the theory and computing method of working load on PDC drill bit with ream while drilling;2.Carrying out the theory about cutter layout of PDC drill bit with ream while drilling and put forward the different cutter layou theory in the vertical well and directional well,and proposing a design method of PDC drill bit with ream while drilling with the function of self-balancing through lateral force.3.According to the theory of cutting mechanics and cutter layout,I compile a cutting mechanical analysis software of ream while drilling PDC drill bit.The software can accurately draw graphs of radial and circumferential tooth arrangement.In addition,the software can calculate the working area?cutting area and cutting volume?cutting force of cutting teeth as well as working load on PDC drill bit with ream while drilling.The software can analyze and evaluate the bit,provide a basis for bit cutter layout design.4.Conducting the product design of PDC drill bit with ream while drilling,and conducting a test on Tahe oil field.According to the application on the spot,PDC drill bit with ream while drilling successfully achieved the goal of ream while drilling in small borehole under the condition of deep well and obtained favorable drilling effect.
