Application Research Of Oil And Gas Pipeline Project Management Maturity Model

With the increasing attention to clean energy in our country,the demand for oil and natural gas is increasing,which leads to the rapid development of oil and gas pipeline project,more and more oil and gas pipeline projects have been approved for construction,and the ability of oil and gas pipeline projects to manage is a key factor in determining the success of the projects.Project management maturity,as a standard for evaluating a project management capability,has attracted more and more attention.However,the current project management maturity model in China is mainly aimed at manufacturing,spaceflight and other industries.The management maturity model for oil and gas pipeline projects is rarely seen.In order to find out the deficiencies in the management of oil and gas pipeline projects in China,to find out the areas that need to be improved and to improve the management ability of oil and gas pipeline projects in China,this paper takes the oil and gas pipeline projects as the research object.After analyzing the research results of project management maturity at home and abroad and combining the management characteristics and current situation of oil and gas pipeline project in China,a management maturity model of oil and gas pipeline project with three dimensions and five grades is constructed.Then the management maturity model of new oil and gas pipeline project is evaluated and studied.Finally,taking an oil and gas pipeline project as an example,the maturity of the project management is evaluated,and the management maturity grade of the project is calculated and determined.The results is used to verify the validity and practicability of the management maturity model for oil and gas pipeline projects.At the same time,the deficiencies in the management of the project are found and the improvement direction is clear.The research on the maturity of oil and gas pipeline project management in this paper provides an effective theoretical basis for the petrochemical enterprises in China to improve their own project management capability.It is of great significance to improve the project management ability and project success rate of petrochemical enterprises in China.
