Polycrystalline diamond is a kind of polycrystalline material with high hardness and wear resistance.It has been widely used in the fields like industry,geology,aviation and national defense,etc.By improving synthesis method,polycrystalline diamond is expected to be further improved in quality.In this paper,polycrystalline diamond was synthesized by Fe70Ni30 catalyst and diamond powder in the range of5.7 GPa and 1365-1485?by means of high pressure and high temperature technology.It shows that the solubility of the grain surface is larger at relatively high temperature.And the synthesis temperature range decreases with the decrease of pressure,when the pressure is 5.4 GPa,the synthesis temperature is 1350-1365?.Under this condition,the hardness,compactness and wear ratio of the synthesized polycrystalline diamond improve.In this paper,high quality polycrystalline diamond was successfully synthesized by synergistic doping of powder and flake catalyst,and the effect of polycrystalline layer thickening was realized.Meanwhile,the homogeneity of infiltration was also improved.
