The stirring reactor is a typical chemical equipment,and the stirring shaft is the key component of the stirring equipment,and its operation condition directly affects the performance and service life of the mixing equipment.With the development of high parameters,the capacity of the stirring equipment increases,and the application of the spindles is adopted.In the rotation process,because of the stirring shaft,slender and its deflection also increase,to the vibration of the mixing equipment,bad driving components of mechanical wear,and even cause resonance,therefore,needs to take corresponding measures to control the deflection of shaft,so as to ensure the safe operation of the mixing equipment long-term stability.Is commonly used in engineering methods such as increasing the diameter of axle,enhance bearing condition to control shaft around the degrees,but these measures still have increased costs,complex structure and installation maintenance difficult problem,on the stirring shaft installed stabilizer to reduce deflection is a relatively simple,suitable,safe method.However,so far,about the design and application of stabilizer in the reaction kettle is still at the experimental exploration stage,and more pay attention to the stability of stabilizer effect,the influence of the mixing characteristics of its brings little reported that six straight blade mixer shaft system,the author of this paper,using theoretical analysis and experimental research was conducted on the cylinder type stabilizer,and the stirring shaft installed stabilizer with stabilizer two operating mode has carried on the analysis and comparison of mixing characteristics,besides using the CFD numerical simulation technology to simulate the working condition of two kinds of flow field.On the blender CFD modeling method,the stirring shaft,stirrer,stabilizer surrounding area are set to dynamic cone area model,based on tetrahedral grid meshing model and simulation method to choose standard turbulence model,steady state are deduced with the method of multiple reference frame(MRF)model of the mixing flow field.For a specific type and size of the agitator,in the commonly used 240 rpm,with different speed to the belt stabilizer and without stabilizer mixer shaft for numerical simulation.Use of mixing machine and PIV(particle image testing system)devices for six straight blade blender-axis system for experimental study,and comparing with simulation results,in addition,an analysis of the test of time under different rotational speed.The results show that the stabilizer has obvious stabilizing effect on the stirring shaft,but it also has some other effects on the stirring characteristics.First,the stirring effect of the stabilizer area is affected by certain effects,which shows that the flow field distribution changes and the particle velocity decreases.Secondly,under the same working condition,the influence of the stabilizer on the power is small,even decreased,and the mixing time is reduced.Third,with the increase of rotational speed,the agitation intensity becomes larger.
