With the rapid development of rubber industry,rubber has been widely used in all walks of life,and people's understanding of rubber has become more and more in-depth.Rubber as a macromolecule polymer may dissolve in organic solvents.Solvent molecules penetrate into the interior of rubber first,and the volume expansion of rubber is called swelling.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the swelling process of rubber in organic solvents and the properties of rubber before and after swelling.Nowadays,most of the swelling experiments at home and abroad still use the original weighing method and volumetric method.Although there are many new swelling testing methods,these testing methods are based on the principle of measuring the mass and volume of polymer to characterize the swelling performance,and it is difficult to continuously measure and real-time monitor,and the operation is cumbersome and produces larger measurement.Error,it is difficult to meet the swelling process of rubber in organic solvents and the determination and exploration of rubber properties before and after swelling.This paper designs a real-time monitoring system for multi-point swelling based on the principle of laser triangulation with photoelectric displacement sensor.Four laser displacement sensors are arranged side by side on the same horizontal plane for testing.Four sensors simultaneously hit four rubber samples on the same horizontal plane below,and soak rubber samples in organic solvents for swelling by changing.Different parameters of rubber and organic solvents were tested at the same time.The tiny deformation in swelling process was transformed into voltage signal by adding data acquisition system,and then the data was automatically saved and processed to obtain a complete and continuous swelling curve.The swelling process of rubber in different concentration parameters,polar solvents and the swelling properties of rubber with different crosslinking degree were studied.Then the anisotropy of rubber swelling and the properties of rubber before and after swelling were measured by comparing the swelling of rubber samples.This new multi-point simultaneous polymer swelling testing system has certain advantages for testing rubber swelling.By changing multiple parameters and multi-point simultaneous swelling testing,the errors caused by external interference are greatly reduced.Laser displacement sensor has high measurement accuracy and can accurately measure andmonitor rubber samples.The measured data are real,reliable and wrong.Compared with the traditional swelling test method,it has the advantages of convenient operation,saving time and manpower,and high accuracy.Figure[35] table[8] reference[42]...
