| Solid oxide fuel cell(SOFC)is a new power generation technology that directly converts chemical energy of fuel into electric energy by electrochemical reaction.It is not restricted by Carnot cycle and greatly improves the power generation efficiency.The total efficiency of electric conversion can reach 50%-60%.If Combined Heat and Power(CHP)is used,it can reach more than 80%.In order to meet the project requirements of a company,this paper will study the relevant content of 2kW CE-1801 SOFC power generation system.Referring to the latest industry standard IEC 62282(International Electrotechnical Commission Standard)and the basic theory of SOFC,this paper presents a detailed workflow diagram and the architecture diagram of 2kW CE-1801 SOFC power generation system,including fuel processing module,heat treatment and heat transfer module,power generation module,power output module and electrical control module.Each module is introduced briefly,the design and layout of the fuel cell stack and the design of the airway holes in the stack base in the power generation module are introduced in detail.Fuel cell stack is the core component of SOFC power generation system.In this paper,two different planar SOFC stack structures are designed.The first one uses two or three-hole metal plate cell stack structure to isolate the air and hydrogen of the fuel cell.This structure has no airway groups occupying the reaction area of cathode and anode and enlarges the electrochemical reaction area.The second one is designed with bipolar plate structure.The air and hydrogen airway groups are carved on both sides of the bipolar plate which improves the directivity of airflow and reduces the components of the fuel cell stack and the cost.Simulating and analyzing the two kinds of the fuel cell stack structures.For the anode and cathode airway groups of the bipolar plate,to research the influence of different inlet and outlet widths on the uniformity of gas distribution in the airway groups and find out the appropriate import and export width and finally realize the structural design optimization.For the two or three-hole metal plate cell stack structure,simulating and analyzing the uniformity distribution of gas in the fuel cell stack.Comparing and analyzing the simulation results of two kinds of the fuel cell stack,the more suitable two or three-hole metal plate fuel cell stack structure is adopted and assembled into the SOFC power generation system.The 2kW CE-1801 SOFC power generation system runs smoothly and continuously for1500 hours,which meets the design requirements of the project. |
