Form And Experiment: Research On Digital Embroidery

The development of embroidery crafts in China is diversified,but it also faces the question of how to develop.Hand embroidery is exquisite,but it is based on painting and photography for a long time.Sewing machine embroidery has realized semi-automation,but the efficiency and effect are far less than from hand embroidery;Digital embroidery meets mass production but is rarely incorporated into artistic creation.In view of this situation,this paper conducts an experimental case study on the combination of digital technology and embroidery.The content of this paper is mainly divided into two parts.The digital works of Xiaochun Miao are interpreted and the principle and possibility of digital embroidery are discussed in this paper.And tries to investigate he value of embroidery as a technical means and art carrier from both technical and artistic perspectives in an experimentally intersecting manner.The second part is based on experimental data and works to specifically study how to realize digital embroidery.Taking the traditional Chinese garden as the theme research direction,analyze the space and form of the garden,the linear form of each component is expressed by software graphic expression,Digital garden embroidery is completed through embroidery software and embroidery machines,summarize the main points and difficulties of the recording process and implementation.The illusion construction of virtual garden is carried out on the basis.It integrates hand embroidery,hand push embroidery and digital embroidery,also integrates needlework and materials for comprehensive design,and adds devices and images to realize the transformation of embroidery from plane to space.Thus provides the possible direction for the diverse development of embroidery.
