With the development of China's manufacturing industry and the continuous improvement of demand,the whole domestic industrial chain continues to speed up the improvement.Machining center has become a popular choice for manufacturing enterprises because of its high machining efficiency,complex adaptation conditions and relevant policy support.However,many new products of machining center introduced by enterprises are simple size improvement based on the original machine tool,and there is no targeted design for the working condition,dynamic and static characteristics and lightweight requirements of machining center.Aiming at the above problems,this paper studies the existing column structure of a vertical machining center and the optimization method of machining center structure based on topology optimization.The specific research contents are as follows:First of all,the modal analysis experiment of the column structure of a machining center is carried out,and SolidWorks is used to establish the solid model of the column structure of the machining center,and then the finite element software ANSYS Workbench is used to divide the model mesh and conduct the dynamic and static analysis.The accuracy of the finite element model of the column structure is verified by comparing with the modal experimental data.In order to realize the lightweight design of the column structure of the machining center,based on the static and dynamic analysis value of the original column and the characteristics of several working conditions of the machining center,the rigidity design goal of the machining center is proposed.The HyperMesh module is used to optimize the topology of machining center,and the contour model and structure concept model are obtained.According to the conceptual model,the column structure is designed in detail,the reinforcement plate weight reduction holes are arranged and the processing technology is improved,and two new structural schemes are obtained.Compared with the original structure,the two schemes can meet the working conditions and reduce the weight.The second schemecan reduce the weight by 11.7%.At the same time,it effectively reduces the maximum deformation and stress concentration,improves the processing technology,improves the processing efficiency,and reduces the complexity of the internal rib plate structure.In this paper,the structural performance analysis and topology optimization design of the vertical machining center column are studied,which effectively improves the stress distribution and stiffness of the column structure of the machining center,reduces the weight of the column structure,improves the performance of the column structure and improves the processing technology.The expected goal has been achieved.
