With the rapid development of social economy and construction industry,the requirement of enterprises for construction practitioners has changed from mastering certain basic cultural knowledge to having relevant professional knowledge and accomplishment,and at the same time,they should have certain operational and practical abilities.The original construction practitioners have been unable to adapt to the market demand of the construction industry,and the shortage of talents in construction industry has become increasingly prominent.But at present,there is a tendency of attaching importance to theory and neglecting practice in the arrangement of teaching structure in secondary vocational colleges.The major courses are theoretical courses.Teachers lack the consciousness and ability to teach students practically,and enterprises lack the motivation to participate in running schools.Therefore,it is an important problem for the education management of secondary vocational colleges to face and solve whether they can timely adjust the curriculum reform and innovate the practical teaching mode according to the current situation and development of the industry,so that the students who come out of the school can quickly adapt to the post requirements after entering the job.This paper takes the Z secondary vocational school in Qingdao as the research object,and adopts case study method,through research,interview,retrieval and related literature to obtain research materials and data,and explores how to build a new practical teaching mode of Construction Engineering in secondary vocational schools in the process of vocational education reform and the development of China's construction industry.This article focuses on the macro guidance of national policies,as the managers and implementers of the teaching of Construction Engineering in secondary vocational schools.Based on the theory of practical teaching,it studies the two aspects of curriculum system reform and vocational school skills contest results transformation,and analyzes the drawbacks of the existing teaching mode.On the basis of the relevant research at home and abroad,this paper puts forward the research ideas of "building the ability-based practical teaching curriculum system,promoting the practical teaching reform by the transformation of skills competition results",and probes into the practical teaching countermeasures of the construction engineering major in secondary vocational school from the aspects of school,teachers and society,so as to provide ideas and feasible suggestions for the development of practical teaching activities in this major.Through the reform and popularization of practical teaching,the integration of school and enterprise has been carried out in depth,so that students can gain an in-depth understanding of professional knowledge and at the same time master the ability to acquire applied knowledge,and grow into the "skilled" talents needed by enterprises.Teachers constantly improve their practical teaching and teaching abilities,and become "double qualified" teachers for vocational education,and practical teaching is forcing theoretical teaching content.Renewal,in order to promote the sustainable development of professional construction.
