Clinical Observation On External Treatment Of Ankylosing Spondylitis (cold-damp Syndrome) With Quhan Qiangdu Powder

Purpose:Ankylosing spondylitis(AS)is a chronic,progressive inflammation of systemic diseases.At present,there is no effective cure to the disease in clinical,and Oral medications in some degree have side effects.In addiction,biological agents is expensive and patients with poor compliance.Fully application of traditional Chinese medicine theory,according to the principle of targeted therapy,selecting reliable,accurately safe and simple external treatment of Chinese medicine treatment to cure AS.This topic of this study is employing the qu han qiang du san wax therapy to cure AS(han shi zheng).It is aimed at observing the clinical curative effect,and laying a foundation for the clinical treatment of AS.Method:40 patients with AS(han shi zheng)were randomly divided into two groups:treatment group and control group,respectively,20 people in each group.Control group were simply given salasulfapyridine(SASP),1 g 1 day 2 times;In addition to the oral SASP,the treatment group also gives wax medication cure:qu han qiang du san(rouguifen 20g,shengaiyefen 10g,yanhusuofen 30g,xuduanfen 30g,huainiuxifen 20g,chuanniuxifen 20g,banxiafen 20g,ezhufen 20g,weilingxianfen 20g,duhuofen 20g,xixinfen 10g,fangjifen 20g,chuanxiongfen 20g,dangguifen 20g,danpifen 15g)and wax therapy.Operation for 30 minutes each time,once a day.Before the treatment,treatment 2 weeks,4 weeks and 8 weeks treatment records VAS score,functional activity index,inflammatory indexes(erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),c-reactive protein(CRP)),the symptoms and signs of TCM score and patients generally vital sign,blood routine,liver and kidney function and electrocardiogram examination.After the treatment,SPSS 20.0 statistical software for statistical data processing,to evaluate the curative effect of the treatment of qu han qiang du san wax cure.Result:Forty patients with ankylosing spondylitis(han shi zheng):Spinal pain VAS score,functional activities(total score,the distance between pillow and wall),the total score of TCM symptoms and signs,had a significant difference in both two groups after 2 weeks treatment(P<0.05).Therapy group has significant differences in the lumbar lateral curvature.C-reactive protein,TCM symptoms and signs(lumbosacral spinal back pain,morning stiffness,lumbar debility)(P<0.05).There was no statistical significance in the control group(P>0.05).4 weeks treatment spinal pain VAS score,the total score of the activities and functions,C-reactive protein,TCM symptoms and signs(lumbosacral spine pain,morning stiffness),two both group had statistical significance(P<0.05).Lumbar lateral bending,lumbar proneness,pillow wall in the distance,lumbar debility in the treatment group has the significant difference(P<0.05),but the comparison group has no statistical significance(P>0.05).Spinal pain VAS score and C-reactive protein,compared between the two groups was statistically significant,with significant difference(P<0.05).Treatment for 8 weeks,spine pain VAS score,functional activities,C-reactive protein,the symptoms and signs of traditional Chinese medicine(lumbosacral spine pain,morning stiffness,lumbar debility)within both two groups had statistical significance(P<0.05),spinal pain VAS score,C-reactive protein,lumbosacral spine pain trapped,body weight,statistical significance was found between the two groups,with significant difference(P<0.05).In conclusion:Qu han qiang du san wax treatment of ankylosing spondylitis,2 weeks treatment can obviously improve the lumbosacral spine pain,morning stiffness,lumbar debility,functional activities and C-reactive protein;8 weeks curative effect of the therapy group is superior to pure western medicine group in the spinal pain VAS score,C-reactive protein,the improvement of the lumbosacral spine pain and heavy body trapped.Adding wax and pharmacologic interventions,the improvement of the functional activity is earlier than pure western medicine treatment group,and the curative effect is distinct.The evaluation of efficacy for syndrome of traditional Chinese medicine of qu han qiang du san wax treatment for 8 weeks,there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),its long-term effect remains to be further confirmed.Conclusion:Both pure SASP and SASP combined with qu han qiang du san wax treatment all were effective in treating AS(han shi zheng),and combining with the qu han qiang du san wax treatment was better than the group of pure SASP.
