Objective : To observe herbal-cake-separated moxibustion effect on spleen index、thymus index、inducible nitric oxide synthase、interleukin-6、interleukin-1βand tumor necrosis factor-αof functional dyspepsia(FD)rats,and to explore the herbal-cake-separated moxibustion another possible mechanism for treatment of FD.Methods:According to the random number table method,50 selected Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into five groups: blank group(A),model group(B),herbal-cake-separated moxibustion group(C),moxa-cone moxibustion group(D)and domperidone group(10 in each group).Group A normal feeding,The other four groups were taken(chronic restraint stress+excessive fatigue+dietary dislocation+tail+shake)compound etiology continuous modeling 21 d.After successful modeling,each group was intervened for 14 days according to the tested factors.Group B was bound for 30 minutes,fed with 0.9% NS,and the volume of gastric perfusion was 1ml/100 g body mass(the same below);Group C tied restraint and drug medicated moxibustion for 30 minutes,and fed 0.9% NS;Group D tied bondage and moxibustion for 30 min,and fed0.9% NS;Group E bound for 30 minutes and drenched domperidone water solvent.At the end of the experiment,gastric emptying rate in rats was calculated by observing rat gastrointestinal evacuation of nutrient semi-solid paste.Spleen and thymus index were calculated by weighing method.The levels of IL-6,IL-1β and TNF-α in serum of rats were detected by immunohistochemistry and i NOS and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method.Results:1.After the completion of the model,the rats in each group had dry and disordered hairs,auricular paleness,lack of energy,lying in a corner,decreased activity,loss of appetite,weight loss and loose bowel movements.Rats’ number of crossings,number of rises and number of modifications decreased(P<0.01 or P<0.05).Shows that the FD model of liver stagnation and spleen copied successfully.2.The effect of herbal-cake-separated moxibustion on organ index in rats:Compared with group A,Organ index of group B were all decreased(P<0.01).Compared with group B,Organ index increased in group C and D(P<0.01),Organ index increased in group E,but there was no significant difference(P>0.05).Compared with group E,Organ index increased in group C and D(P<0.01).Compared with group D,Organ index in group C were significantly increased(P<0.05).3.Effect of Medicinal Herbal Cake Moxibustion on Rat Gastric Emptying Rate and Gastric Sinusoid i NOS:Compared with group A,the gastric emptying rate in group B decreased,and the number of i NOS in gastric antrum increased.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);Compared with group B,the gastric emptying rate of rats in groups C,D,and E was significantly increased,and the number of i NOS in gastric antrum was reduced,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).there was no significant difference between C,D and E groups(P>0.05).4.Effects of Medicinal Herbal Cake Moxibustion on Serum IL-6 、 IL-1βand TNF-αContents in Rats:Compared with group A,the serum levels of IL-6,IL-1β and TNF-α in the model group were all increased,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Compared with group B,serum IL-6、IL-1β and TNF-α in group C,group D,and group E all decreased,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Compared with E,the serum levels of IL-6,IL-1β and TNF-α in group C and group D were significantly lower(P<0.01).Compared with group D,serum IL-6 levels in group C were significantly higher than those of group D IL-1βand TNF-α decreased(P<0.01).Conclusion:The drug-partitioned moxibustion can significantly increase the visceral index of rats with FD,liver and spleen deficiency,reduce serum IL-6,IL-1βand TNF-α levels,reduce the number of i NOS in gastric antrum,increase gastric emptying rate,and enhance The body’s immune function,down-regulation of pro-inflammatory factors,promote gastrointestinal motility,to achieve the purpose of treatment of FD,which may be one of the mechanisms of drug-participating cake moxibustion treatment of FD.
