Group Work Involves Research On The Spiritual Care Of Breast Cancer Patients

With the increase of the incidence of breast cancer and the prolongation of the survival period,the status of the rehabilitation period of the breast cancer patients has been gradually paid attention to,and many support in the fields of policy and medical treatment.With the idea of "all human care" of the body and mind,the spiritual care is becoming more and more important to the attention of the cancer caregivers.This article mainly explores the spiritual care of breast cancer patients from three aspects:first,the conceptual exploration of spiritual and spiritual care;second,the specific dimension of spiritual needs of breast cancer patients;and third,the specific method and skill exploration of the group work involved in the spiritual care of the breast cancer patients.From the professional perspective of social work,this study conducted a semi structured in-depth interview on 8 breast cancer patients in a street in Pukou,Nanjing,to understand their spiritual needs and expectations.On this basis,according to the specific dimensions of the spiritual needs of breast cancer patients,we designed and launched the five phase of the spiritual care group.This paper believes that the spiritual needs of breast cancer patients can be divided into four dimensions:peace and peace,sense of life,realization of communion and completion of transcendence.For the psychological care of breast cancer patients,we can start from two aspects:consciousness intervention and action intervention.The team work method is adopted,and the effect is feasible.In the process of actual intervention,there are three problems in the following aspects:one is the unfamiliarity with the social worker’s own spiritual care;the two is the fear of facing and dealing with the negative emotions of the service object;and three,it can not communicate effectively with the service object.As a professional helping person,social workers should take the role of evaluators,coordinators,supporters and explorers in the spiritual care of breast cancer patients,learn the knowledge of spiritual care,improve.the empathy skills and communication skills in the service process,and enhance the spiritual care ability of the social workers themselves.
