Introduction: Breast cancer is one type of malignant cancers that severely harms women health worldwide.Studies have confirmed that physical activity plays a role in rehabilitative patients after BC.The purpose of this study was to estimate the effects of combined exercise intervention based on internet and social media software on the quality of life, muscle strength and cardiorespiratory capacity in Chinese postoperative patients with breast cancer(BC).Patients and methods: This study was a randomized control trial with an intervention time of 12 weeks.Sixty participants(30 in each group, female)were recruited. The ranges of the age of the subjects was 42-60 years old.Procedure contents of exercise in the intervention group include(1)Face-to-face televideo guidance on muscle training was performed 3 times per week and 30 minutes every time(2)cardiorespiratory capacity training was performed 4times per week,The exercise intensity was determined by RPE,and the participants were asked to complete the target steps during the specified exercise time, and the steps were recorded by mobile phone step counting software(3)postoperative BC rehabilitation knowledge pushed regularly by social media apps every day.The control group received normal treatment and rehabilitation according to daily specifications of the hospital. The primary outcome was the quality of life(QOL)using SF-36 and PROMIS.The secondary outcomes measured were physical fitness indicator and social cognitive theory indicator. Results: Participants in the intervention group significantly improved vitality(p = 0.009),mental health(p = 0.001),reported health transition(p = 0.048)and fatigue(p = 0.008)of QOL,stand-up and sit-down chair test(p = 0.000),arm lifting test(p = 0.017)and flexibility(p = 0.043)of physical fitness, physical exercise: obstruction(p = 0.002)of social cognitive theory compared to the control group. After 12 weeks, participants in the intervention group had statistical significance in role-physical(P = 0.009),general health(P = 0.024),maximum oxygen uptake(P = 0.027),hip circumference(P = 0.010),waist-hip ratio(P = 0.004)and physical exercise:enjoy of social cognitive theory(P = 0.004).Participants in the control group had no statistical significance in role-physical(P = 0.519),general health(P = 0.054),maximal oxygen uptake(P = 0.056),hip circumference(P = 0.502),waist-hip ratio(P = 0.082)and physical exercise:enjoy of social cognitive theory(P = 0.186).The improvement value of the intervention group was significantly higher compared to the control group. There was no significant difference in pain intensity(P = 0.055)between the experimental group and the control group(P = 0.431)after 12 weeks, but the improvement value of the intervention groupwas significantly higher than the control group. Conclusion: The combined exercise intervention based on internet and social media software offered the rehabilitative effects in QOL and muscle strength, reduced participation in sports obstruction factors, increase social support for sports activities and had a tendency to improve the cardiorespiratory capacity, reduce pain intensity, prevent or reduce lumbago and increase participation in sports enjoyment of Chinese postoperative patients with BC.
