| Background:The incidence of premature infants in China is 9.9%,the proportion of premature infants in hospitalized newborns has increased by nearly 5%in the past decade.Since organs and physiological functions are not mature, metabolic ability is poor, and the incidence of complications is high, the birth of premature infants is a crisis for the whole family, which aggravates the pressure parents need to bear.Studies show that mothers of premature babies have little knowledge of the situation of premature babies during their hospitalization, and they may suffer from postpartum depression and other symptoms. After discharge, mothers of premature babies feel uneasy because they haven’t adapted to their roles and have no confidence of taking good care of their children.Meanwhile, they are worried about the sequelae of premature babies. With the development of information technology and food-care network, information support has a better effect in reducing maternal postpartum depression, and the network has become an important medium for providing information.Wechat,as the mainstream media, can instantly transmit text messages and send voice, pictures as well as videos through the network to provide a way for premature mothers to communicate with their babies. At present, most neonatal intensive care units in our country carry out restricted visitation system. The research is aimed to explore the influence of informational support through Wechat on mother’s postpartum depression from premature’s hospitalization to one month after discharge. Objective:To explore the influence of information support through Wechat on postpartum depression of premature mothers during the period from hospitalization to one month after discharge; To evaluate the effect of information support by describing the needs and social support of mothers who have premature infants.Result:A total of 68 mothers of premature infants completed the data collection. In the course of the study,6 cases were excluded from the intervention group and the control group respectively. The results showed that:(1)The incidence of depression among mothers of premature infants within 24 hours of NICU entry was 76.47%,which was at a high level.(2)EPDS scores of mothers of premature infants showed a downward trend, and the depression remained until one month after discharge.(3)By using Wechat as the medium of information support, the scores of postpartum depression of mothers in intervention group were lower than those of control group in one week during hospitalization and on the day of discharge(t=5.326,P=0.027;t=4.033,P=0.049);the scores of postpartum depression of mothers in intervention group were lower than those of preterm infants in 24 hours on the day of discharge and one month after discharge(t=22.217,P=0.000;t=34.940,P=0.000).(4)On the day of discharge and one month after discharge, the scores of postpartum depression of the mothers in the control group were lower than those of the preterm infants in 24 hours after admission(t=8.302,P=0.007;t=17.603,P=0.000).(5)Among the importance scores of social support, information support scored the highest, followed by material support, emotional support and comparative support, while in actual social support, material support was the highest, followed by information support, emotional support and comparative support. In actual social support, the score of information support and emotional support in intervention group was higher than that in control group,of which information support was two. There was significant difference between the two groups(t=0.528,P=0.049).Conclusion:(1)Informational support through Wechat can effectively reduce the mothers’postpartum depression when the premature infants enter NICU at the first week of admission and the day of discharge.(2)Wechat-mediated informational support meets the informational support needs of mothers of premature infants during the preterm infants’hospitalization to one month after discharge.(4)On the basis of network platform, information support needs human resources, technology and resources. At the same time, attention should be paid to the accuracy, richness and diversity of information. |
