A Randomized Controlled Study Of Eye Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Post-stroke Insomnia

Purpose:The effect and advantage of eye acupuncture therapy on insomnia after stroke was studied by using eye acupuncture therapy to reduce the clinical observation of insomnia after stroke.Not only can reduce the dosage of diazepam,reduce side effects and prevent addiction,and can improve the patient’s body recovery ability,improving daily living ability,improve the quality of life,have greatly enriched after stroke clinical treatment of insomnia.Material and method:From November 2016 to July 2017,a total of 60 patients with insomnia after stroke were enrolled in the hospital in liaoning province,and 30 patients in the treatment group and 30 in the control group were randomly divided into treatment group.Treatment group: eye needle therapy combined with oral drug diazepam,control group: oral diazepam.Treatment group eye needle therapy continuous acupuncture for 5 days,daily treatment,each treatment for 15 min.Diazepam is taken orally: if the patient is able to fall asleep naturally,he does not need to take the medicine;Continuous treatment was performed for 2 weeks,and both groups were treated with routine treatment.With Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index,PSQI)scale,viability assessment,Daily life activities ability evaluation method(Activity of Daily Living,ADL)evaluation method,according to the Barthel Index score.The cases were graded before and after treatment.The data were treated with SPSS17.0 software package.P < 0.05 indicates that the difference is statistically significant.Results:1.After 2 weeks of observation,the total score of PSQI after treatment was better than that before treatment,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).And the treatment group after treatment of PSQI score and total score are better than the control group total score,have difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),illustrate the treatment of two groups are useful,but the treatment group therapy effect is better.2.After 2 weeks of observation,the treatment group was less than the control group of the hypnotic drug score,with the difference,which was statistically significant(P < 0.05).3.After 2 weeks of observation,the dosage of diazepam was significantly reduced in the treatment group and the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).4.Observed after 2 weeks,the treatment group after treatment the Barthel index score was better than control group,have differences,there is statistical significance(P < 0.05).Conclusion:1.Eye needle therapy combined with the oral diazepam group was effective in treating insomnia after apoplexy,and its overall efficacy was better than that of the conventional drug diazepam group.2.Eye needle therapy can significantly reduce the dosage of diazepam,reduce dependence,reduce side effects,and improve sleep.3.the treatment group after treatment the Barthel index scale score was better than control group,not only eye needle treatment insomnia curative effect is satisfactory after stroke,and improve patient body recovery,to improve the activity of daily livingof patients.
