Purpose:The purpose of this study was to observe the clinical curative effect of Yu kui prescription(YKP)in the treatment of ulcerative colitis.Through the detection of IL-10 and TNF-α in intestinal mucosa before and after treatment, the effects of YKP on the expression of anti-inflammatory factor and pro-inflammatory factor were analyzed.Factor expression,to explore its possible mechanism of action for UC,and the possible mechanisms of YKP in the treatment of UC are discussed,so as to provide a theoretical basis for clinical application.Material and method:The subjects of this study were all from the outpatients of Traditional Chinese Medicine department of Shenyang military District Hospital.40 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, with 20 cases in each group. There was no statistical difference between the two groups in the sex and age distribution, the range of disease and the condition of the disease(P>0.05),which was comparable. The control group was treated with mesalazine, and the treatment group was treated with YKP.The treatment course was 8 weeks. The results were statistically analyzed and compared to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of the drug.According to the changes of IL-10,TNF-α in intestinal mucosa before and after treatment in the treatment group, the possible mechanism of YKP was speculated. Results: 1.In each group, the difference of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine curative effect scores between before and after treatment were statistically significant(P<0.05).2.In western medicine curative effect score, there was no statistical difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).3.After treatment, there was statistical difference between the two groups in TCM syndrome score(P < 0.05),among which the curative effect of Yukui Fang was better in relieving the secondary symptoms of TCM,and the difference between the two groups was significant(P < 0.05),and the total effective rate of the treatment group was obviously better than that of the control group(P < 0.05).4.During the experiment,no adverse drug reaction was found in the two groups, and no abnormal liver function was found in the treatment group.5.after treatment, the IL-10 level of intestinal mucosa in the experimental group was increased and the level of TNF-α decreased, and there was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion: 1.Both Yukui recipe and mesalazine were effective in treating UC.Yukui prescription was more effective in TCM syndromes, especially in relieving secondary symptoms.2.No adverse drug reaction was found during the treatment of Yu kui prescription, and the liver function of the treatment group was not abnormal, suggesting that the ulcer had good safety.3.The mechanism of Yu kui prescription in treating UC may be through up-regulating anti-inflammatory factor IL-10,down-regulating the expression of pro-inflammatory factor TNF-α in intestinal mucosa, restoring the balance of inflammatory factor, thus relieving the immune inflammatory reaction and promoting the repair of intestinal mucosa.
