Clinical Study Of Quyu Huazhuo Tongbi Decoction In The Treatment Of Rheumatoid Arthritis Due To Phlegm And Blood Stasis

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Quyu Huazhuo Tongbi decoction in treating intermingled phlegm and stasis syndrome rheumatoid arthritis for providing a theoretical basis to the clinical treatment of intermingled phlegm and stasis syndrome rheumatoid arthritis.Methods:Choosing 60 cases rheumatoid arthritis patients as the research object between November 2015 and December 2017,which conformed to the diagnostic standard and came from the rheumatism inpatient and outpatient department in Second Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.60 cases were randomly divided into two groups,the treatment group of 30 cases and the control group of 30 cases.The control group was treated with oral Leflunomide 20 mg once a day,the treatment group was based on the Leflunomide and added the Quyu Huazhuo Tongbi decoction.In 4 weeks,monitoring indicators in two groups of patients,comparing the two groups of symptoms,signs and clinical observation indexes,comparing the two groups of clinical curative effect,TCM syndromes and signs integrals,DAS28 before and after treatment.Results:30 patients in the treatment group and 29 patients in the control group were respectively observed.After 28 days of treatment,the treatment group showed 3 obvious cases,7 cases of improvement,18 effective cases and 2 invalid case,the total effective rate of the group is 93.3%;the control group showed 5 obvious cases,6 cases of improvement,10 effective cases and 8 invalid cases,the total effective rate is 72.4%.The treatment group compared with the control group,the obvious cases significantly increased,the invalid cases reduced,and the total effective rate increased.There was significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(p<0.05),it showed the treatment group had a better curative effect.There was significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(p<0.05)in tender joint count,swollen joint count,morning stiffness,average grip strength,pain score,ESR,CRP,TCM syndromes and signs integrals and DAS28,it showed the two groups all had significant curative effect.There was also significant difference between the treatment group and the control group after treatment in tender joint count,swollen joint count,morning stiffness,average grip strength,pain score,ESR,CRP,TCM syndromes and signs integrals,DAS28 after treatment(p<0.05),it showed the treatment group had a better curative effect.Conclusion: 1.Quyu Huazhuo Tongbi decoction in treating intermingled phlegm and stasis syndrome rheumatoid arthritis has the exact effect;2.According to the clinical trial,fully understand the key pathogenic factor of rheumatoid arthritis is “cold,dampness,phlegm,blood stasis”,reflecting the theoretical thought of treating intermingled phlegm and stasis syndrome rheumatoid arthritis by Quyu Huazhuo Tongbi decoction is reducing blood stasis and turbidity to remove meridian obstruction.
