Purpose:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of oral Chinese medicine in the treatment of functional constipation in children FC based on Meta-analysis system.Material and method: A randomized controlled trial of oral Chinese medicine for the treatment of functional constipation in children was conducted from January to December2018 in China from China Knowledge Network,Wanfang Data,and China Weipu.Design scientific and effective literature retrieval strategies by using keywords as search terms.A total of 44 articles were included in the literature,including 45 randomized controlled trials,3367 children,including 1685 in the experimental group and 1682 in the control group.Data analysis was performed using Rev Man 5.3 software,and the Cochrane Collaboration was used for quality evaluation.The primary outcome measures were clinical efficacy and clinical cure rates,expressed as odds ratio(OR)and 95% confidence interval(CI).Descriptive analysis of the clinical efficacy of oral Chinese medicine in the treatment of functional constipation in children.Results:1.The clinical effective rate and cure rate of the oral Chinese medicine treatment group were higher than those of the western medicine treatment group[OR=5.02,95%CI(3.69,6.85)]、[OR=3.15,95%CI(2.46,4.03)];2.The clinical effective rate and cure rate of the oral self-made prescription group were higher than those of the Chinese patent medicine treatment group[OR=4.75,95%CI(2.86,7.89)]、[OR=3.49,95%CI(2.46,4.96)];The clinical effective rate and cure rate of Chinese and Western medicine combined with oral treatment group were higher than that of single oral western medicine group[OR=4.86,95%CI(2.84,8.30)]、[OR=2.14,95%CI(1.44,3.17)];Compared with other treatment methods,the symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine improved obviously,and the clinical curative effect was significant.The difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).Conclusion:1.Oral Chinese medicine treatment of children with functional constipation,clinical efficiency and cure rate are higher than Western medicine treatment;2.Oral self-made prescriptions for the treatment of children with functional constipation clinical efficacy and cure rate are higher than Chinese patent medicine treatment;3.The clinical efficacy and cure rate of Chinese and Western medicine combined with oral treatment of functional constipation in children are higher than single oral western medicine treatment.4.Oral Chinese medicine treatment of children with functional constipation,primary and secondary symptoms improved significantly,clinical efficacy is significant.
