A Clinical Study Of Gufei Xiaoji Decoction Combined With Bronchial Arterial Chemotherapy Infusion Therapy For Elderly Locally Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Gufei Xiaoji Decoction combined with bronchial arterial chemotherapy in the treatment of locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)in the elderly.Methods: Prospectie,randomized,controlled study method was used with 60 cases of elderly patients with locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer were divided into treatment group 30 cases and control group 30 cases,the treatment group take solid lung drinks combined bronchial arterial infusion chemotherapy treatment,the control group take simple bronchial artery perfusion chemotherapy treatment,4weeks for a treatment cycle,after two cycles in a row,observe two groups of patients with progression-free suriall,disease control rate,TCM syndrome score,quality of life score,and observe the patients’ digestive tract reaction and bone marrow suppression during the treatment.Results: Among the 51 patients included in this study,the two groups were comparable in terms of age,gender,pathological type and TNM stage.The median PFS of the experimental group and the control group were 7.19 and 5.80 months,respectively;the median PFS of the two groups were compared,P=0.031,with statistically significant differences..After the completion of treatment,the disease control rates of the experimental group and the control group were 77.78% and58.33%,respectively.The total TCM syndrome effective rate in the experimental group and the control group was 88.89% and 54.16%,respectively.The total TCM syndrome effective rate in the two groups was compared with that in the control group(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.The KPS scores of the experimental group and the control group were 92.59% and 45.83%,respectively.The KPS scores of the two groups were compared with each other(P<0.05),showingstatistically significant differences.The gastrointestinal reaction rates of the experimental group and the control group were 66.67% and 91.67%,respectively,with P<0.05,showing statistically significant differences.Experimental group and control group of bone marrow suppression was characterized with the phenotypes of fewer hemoglobin,leukopenia,thrombocytopenia,but two groups of patients were mainly Ⅰ ～ Ⅱ degrees,rare Ⅲ ～ Ⅳ degree,compared with control group,experimental group reduced hemoglobin and significantly reduce the incidence of thrombocytopenia,white blood cells to reduce the incidence of no difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion: in the treatment of locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer in the elderly,gufei xiaoji Yin combined with bronchial arterial chemotherapy perfusion plays a synergistic anti-tumor effect,which can stabilize the tumor,improve patients’ PFS,improve patients’ quality of life and TCM syndromes,and alleviate digestive tract reactions.
