Observation Of The Clinical Effect Of Duzhong Duhuo Decoction On Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Herniation (wind-cold-dampness Syndrome)

Objective:By observing the clinical effect of duhuo decoction of eucommia ulmoides on the treatment of lumbar disc herniation(wind,cold and dampness resistance syndrome),it provides guidance for the clinical treatment of lumbar disc herniation.Methods : According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,60 patients with lumbar disc herniation(wind,cold and dampness resistance syndrome)were selected from the orthopedic outpatient department of the first affiliated hospital of hunan university of traditional Chinese medicine,and all the patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group according to the order of treatment.Patients in both groups were given relevant health education to correct their bad living habits.The treatment group was treated with gutta-percha decoction plus reduction therapy,and the control group was treated with Follow the wind permeable bone capsule All patients were treated for two weeks.Before and after treatment,patients’ symptoms were evaluated with the diagnosis of TCM symptoms,subjective VAS score,pain improvement,and ODI score,and relevant data were recorded,sorted out and stored.SPSS 22.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Results: 1.There was no significant difference between the two groups ingeneral conditions,such as gender,age,course of disease,VAS and ODI scores before treatment,indicating comparability.2.Intra-group comparison: before treatment,the diagnostic efficacy,VAS and ODI scores of TCM diseases and syndromes of the two groups of patients were statistically significant(P< 0.05),indicating that the drugs in both groups could improve the pain symptoms and lumbar function of lumbar disc herniation(wind,cold and dampness resistance syndrome).3.Comparison between groups : after 2 weeks of treatment,the treatment group was superior to the control group in the diagnosis of TCM symptoms,VAS,ODI score and pain improvement,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was superior to the control group in terms of pain relief and lumbar function improvement.conclusion: Duhuo decoction of eucommia ulmoides is better than Follow the wind permeable bone capsule in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation(wind,cold and dampness resistance syndrome).
