Preliminary Observation Of The Curative Effect Of Changji Decoction In The Treatment Of Patients With Abnormal CEA, CA19-9 And CA242 In Advanced Colorectal Cancer

Objective: To observe the preliminary curative effect of Chang Ji Recipe(CJR)in the treatment of advanced colorectal cancer with Tumor markers CEA,CA19-9 and CA242 were abnormal,and to objectively evaluate the influence of the traditional Chinese medicine prescription on the three tumor markers and the clinical curative effect on the patients.Methods: Forty eight patients with advanced colorectal cancer who met the inclusion criteria were selected as the study subjects and were treated with Chang Ji Recipe(CJR).The observation time was one course(4 weeks).Methods Case self-control study were conducted.Observe the clinical effect of the patients before and after treatment,compare the TCM syndrome scores of abdominal pain,abdominal distention,stupor,fatigue,loose stool or secret knot,detect the serum tumor markers CEA,CA19-9,CA242,and evaluate the effect.Results: 1.Before and after treatment,TCM syndrome score was statistically significant,and the TCM syndrome score of patients after treatment was lower than that before treatment,showing significant effect in 18 cases(37.5%),effective in 24 cases(50.0%),ineffective in 6 cases(12.5 %),total effective in 42 cases,total effective in 87.5%.2.Comparing the short-term curative effect of the tumor before and after treatment,the number of complete remission was 0,10 partial remission,accounting for 20.8%;the condition was stable in 30 cases,accounting for 62.5%;the tumor progression in 8cases,accounting for 16.7%.10 cases were effective,accounting for20.8%;40 cases were stable,accounting for 83.3%.3.There was nostatistical significance in CEA,CA19-9 and CA242 levels before treatment(P>0.05).The levels of CEA,CA19-9 and CA242 after treatment were lower than those before treatment(P < 0.05).Among them,21 cases(43.75%)had CEA level return to normal,26 cases(54.17%)had CA19-9 level return to normal,and 18 cases(37.50%)had CA242 level return to normal.Conclusion : CJR can significantly reduce the serum tumor markers CEA,CA19-9 and CA242 levels of stage Ⅲ～Ⅳ colorectal cancer(spleen deficiency and blood stasis,damp heat and toxin accumulation type),and can significantly improve the TCM symptoms of patients,which is safe and effective,worthy of application and promotion.At the same time,it has a certain role in maintaining tumor stability and delaying tumor progression.The clinical effect is considerable,but due to the lack of control,it still needs to be further verified.
