| Purpose: To observe the difference in curative effect of acupuncture combined with Hejiang Jiangni Traditional Chinese Medicine Decoction and oral Muxiangshunqi pill on peripheral refractory hiccups.Materials and methods: Materials were selected from March 2018 to March 2019.Sixty patients with peripheral refractory hiccups who were admitted to the Department of Spleen and Gastroenterology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into treatment groups and Control group,30 cases in each group.There were 16 male patients and 14 female patients in the treatment group.The youngest was 21 years old and the oldest was 78 years old.The average age was(46.23 ± 15.84)years.The shortest course was 2 days and the longest was 9 days.The average number of days was(5.13 ± 1.87).)D.In the control group,there were 15 male patients and 15 female patients.The youngest was 25 years old and the oldest was 78 years old.The average age was(48.07 ± 15.47)years.The shortest course was 2 days and the longest was 10 days.The average number of days was(5.17 ± 2.02).)D.There was no significant difference in general information(sex,age,duration of disease,and score before enrollment)between the two groups.The method was to randomly divide peripheral refractory hiccup patients into a treatment group and a control group,30 cases each.The treatment group was given local acupuncture at Neiguan(both sides),bamboo(bilateral),and midge,once a day.At the same time,Hewei Jiangni Chinese medicine decoction was used for oral treatment,one dose per day;the control group was given Muxiangshunqi pills orally,6 g/ time,2 times / d,and the treatment course of both groups was 14 days.Results:1.After 14 days of treatment,the scores of hiccup symptoms in both groups were lower than before treatment(P <0.05).2.Hiccup symptom score in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).3.The total effective rate in the treatment group was 93.33%,and the total effective rate in the control group was 73.33%.4.The total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion:1.Acupuncture combined with Wei Jiang Ni Chinese herbal decoction has significant therapeutic effect on peripheral refractory hiccups.2.The effect of acupuncture combined with Weijiangni Chinese herbal decoction on peripheral refractory hiccups is obviously better than that of Muxiang Shunqi Pill. |
