Research On Guizhi Decoction-like Prescriptions And Syndrome In Treatise On Febrile Diseases Based On Cognitive Linguistics

Objective:From the perspective of Cognitive Linguistics,this dissertation applies the theory of center-edge image schema and prototype category as the research method,and uses the godel’s theorem and the complementary theory,to study the theory of prescriptions and syndromes of Guizhi Decoction of classical prescription and the series decoctions of its analogues,to explore the application of these formulations in "Treatise on Febrile Diseases".It provides a new perspective and thought for the interpretation of classics and clinical practice.Method : The article uses analytical method of the center-edge image schema and prototype category theory of Cognitive Linguistics,to study the theory of prescriptions and syndromes of Guizhi Decoction of classical prescription and the series decoctions of its analogues.1.How to define the center-edge structure of Guizhi Decoction of classical prescription and the series decoctions of its analogues.2.The prescription composition,compatibility significance and the scope of treatment of Guizhi Decoction.3.Which prescriptions belongs to the series decoctions of Guizhi Decoction’s analogues and how to determine,select and classify them.4.The prescription composition,compatibility significance and scope of treatment of each prescription.Results:1.Analysis of Guizhi Decoction of classical prescription and the series decoctions with center-edge structure.According to the image schema and prototype category theory of Cognitive Linguistics,Guizhi Decoction of classical prescription and the series decoctions are regarded as a category.Guizhi Decoction is the center of this category,and the rest of the similar decoctions changed from Guizhi Decoction’s chemistry are on the edge.Due to the differences in drug compatibility and indications,the decoctions have a near or far relationship with the central Guizhi Decoction.2.The theory of prescriptions and syndromes of Guizhi Decoction.Guizhi Decoctionoriginated from the lost "tang fluid classics",according to the existing "fu xing formula zang-fu medicine" contained,Guizhi Decoction is Xiaoyang dan Decoction.Guizhi Decoction is composed of three groups of drugs,which are Guizhi Gancao Decoction,Shaoyao Gancao Decoction,Shengjiang,Dazao and Gancao.Guizhi Gancao Decoction has the effect of warming Yang qi,Shaoyao Gancao Decoction has the effect of nourishing blood and benefiting Yin.Guizhi and Shaoyao have the function of regulating camp qi and protecting qi.And Shengjiang,Dazao and Gancao have the effect of regulating the spleen and stomach.According to godel’s incomplete theorem and Bohr’s complementary principle,the effects of Guizhi Decoction are not only for regulating camp qi and protecting qi,,but also for regulating Yin and Yang,cultivating and tonifying vital qi,assisting heart Yang,soothing liver and calming wood,as well as for restoring central qi and regulating qi and blood.Based on this,the application of Guizhi Decoction was analyzed: Taiyang wind-stroke syndrome,Yangming wind-stroke syndrome,Taiyin wind-stroke syndrome,being used after therapeutic error of Taiyang cold-damage syndrome,spontaneous perspiration,symptoms of gas flush.3.The theory of prescriptions and syndromes of Guizhi Decoction category.According to the effects of Guizhi Decoction on regulating ying wei,regulating spleen and stomach,regulating qi and blood,and regulating Yin and Yang,according to different aspects of Guizhi Decoction’s efficacy,the Decoctions of Guizhi Decoction category are divided into three categories,and the theory of combination,etiology and pathogenesis is analyzed.The first kind of prescription is divided according to Guizhi Decoction has the effect of dissolving muscle and regulating ying wei,including Guizhi Mahuang each half Decoction,Guizhi er Mahuang yi Decoction,Guizhi er Yuebi yi Decoction,Guizhi Decoction added with puerariae,Guizhi plus Houpo Xingren Decoction,Guizhi plus Shaoyao Shengjiang Renshen Decoction.The second kind of prescription is divided according to Guizhi Decoction has the effect of warming Yang qi,nourishing blood and toning the pulse,including Danggui Sini Decoction,Zhigancao Decoction.The third kind of prescription is divided according to Guizhi Decoction has the effect of regulating Yin and Yang,including Guizhi plus Fuzi Decoction,Guizhi subtract Shaoyao Decoction,Fuling Guizhi Baizhu Gancao Decoction,Fuling Guizhi Gancao Dazao Decoction,Guizhi plus Guizhi Decoction,Guizhi subtract Shaoyao plus Shuqi Muli Longgu Decoction,Guizhi Gancao Longgu Muli Decoction,Guizhiplus Shaoyao Decoction,Guizhi plus Dahuang Decoction,Xiaojianzhong Decoction.Conclusion:1.According to the formula effect and compatibility significance of Guizhi Decoction,the scope of Guizhi Decoction in the original works was clarified.2.The theory of Guizhi Decoction was analyzed with the center-edge structure,and the classical contents were studied and understood.
