Study On The Selection Of The 24 Solar Terms For Emergency Diseases In Beijing Area

Objective:Based on the statistics of all emergency medical insurance cases in Beijing from January 2015 to January 2020,the high-risk diseases of each solar term were obtained,with a view to providing evidence for clinical prediction,prevention,and treatment of diseases.The results were compared with the relevant expositions in ’Su Wen-Mai Jie Pian’ to provide a basis for exploring the qi movement characteristics of each solar and the association of its impact on the human qi movement.Methods:According to the comparison of emergency rates of the same diseases in the 120 solar terms between 2015 and 2019,the diseases with the higher emergency rates and the lower emergency rates than the average emergency rate of the 120 solar terms were obtained.Then,the diseases that are 1.5 times higher than the average emergency rate were separated,and the diseases that recurred in the same solar terms within 5 years were found as the diseases which were likely to occur in the special solar terms and caused by the qi movement characteristics of solar terms under the 1.5 times selection criteria.The specific determination method of high-risk diseases under the>1.5 times selection criteria are as follows:for each disease,if it is>1.5 times prone to occur ≥3 times within 5 years of the same solar term,or appears as prone to occur 2 times and the other 3 times are all>1 times which indicates the tendency of prone to occur,the disease will be considered as a high-risk disease which is likely to occur in the solar term annually.With the same method,the diseases which were not likely to occur in each solar term annually were obtainedResults:Under the standard of≥ 1.5 times selection,the diseases of each solar term of men and women were detailed in the main body of the paper.It can be seen that respiratory diseases of men and women were more likely to occur in winter and early spring from the Beginning of Winter to the Beginning of Spring,digestive system diseases and intestinal infectious diseases were more likely to occur in summer and autumn from Lesser Fullness to Autumnal Equinox,carbon monoxide poisoning were seen from Light Snow to Awakening from Hibernation,and heatstroke were seen from Lesser Fullness to the Beginning of Autumn These results were basically consistent with the common sense facts and the clinical epidemiological survey data provided in the textbooks of various subjects,which showed that the data collection and statistical analysis methods of this study were correct,and the results were reliable.The 1.5-fold selection standard initially seemed to meet the needs of this study 2.In comparison with the discussion on three yin and three Yang diseases represented by the six-month solar terms of the Beginning of Spring,Rain Water,Fresh Green,Grain Rain,Grain in Ear,Summer Solstice,Beginning of Autumn,End of Heat,Cold Dew,First Frost,Heavy Snow,Winter Solstice in ’Su Wen-Mai Jie Pian’,the high-risk diseases obtained in this study under the selection standard of 1.5 times can also reach a high degree of compliance with it:the first month of the Beginning of Spring and Rain Water,the month of Taiyang disease,the high-risk diseases were respiratory system diseases,waist and buttock pain,diagnosis aphasia and mania caused by the deficiency of the upper real and the lower.In the month of Jueyin disease in Fresh Green and Grain Rain,the high-risk disease was the liver disease of Jueyin such as scrotum swelling and throat discomfort,and lumbago and back pain caused by Yang Qi Depression.In the month of Yangming disease in Grain in Ear and Summer Solstice,and the high-risk disease was gastrointestinal disease,panic disorder,anxiety depression,lower extremity edema,asthma,etc.In the month of Shaoyin disease in Beginning of Autumn and End of Heat,when Yang was killed outside and Yin Qi was abundant below,the high-risk diseases were waist,lower abdomen disease,anorexia,hepatobiliary disease,vision disorders,pulmonary edema,cough,arrhythmia and other diseases.In the month of shaoyang disease in Cold Dew and First Frost,the high-risk diseases were costal cartilaginous pain,intercostal neuralgia,multi site arthropathy,cardio cerebrovascular disease,hypertension,hepatobiliary disease and peptic ulcer,etc.In the month of Taiyin disease in Heavy Snow and Winter Solstice,spleen transport was inhibited,and the high-risk diseases were abdominal distention and vomiting digestive system,urinary and metabolic diseases,etc.In the results of this study,the diseases of each solar term were comprehensive and extensive,and the types of diseases were meticulous.The results were not corroborated but also expanded the discussion in ’Su Wen·Mai Jie Pian’,and were combined with modern medicine,which was more conducive to clinical practice and further research on the integration of Chinese and Western Medicine.3.The above results proved the credibility of this study,at the same time,the high-risk diseases of each solar term presented in this study can be used as an effective reference for clinical prediction,prevention,diagnosis and treatment of diseases.While they were mutually confirmed with the classic,they also made up for the shortcomings of the pathogenic characteristics of the solar terms not discussed in the classic to a certain extent,which provided a credible and reliable big data basis for the next step to analyze the qi movement characteristics of each solar term and the law of its impact on human body qi movement.Conclusions:The high-risk diseases of each solar term that were likely to occur every year in this study were basically consistent with the facts and confirmed the relevant treatise in ’Su Wen-Mai Jie Pian’,which was helpful to guide the prediction,prevention,diagnosis and treatment of the diseases of each solar term,made up for the deficiency of the relevant treatise in the classic,and provided big data for further exploring the qi movement characteristics of each solar term,mining the value of solar terms in traditional Chinese medicine.
