Since it was first held in the late twentieth Century and early twenty-first Century,the Chinese outdoor music festival has shown a flourishing trend,resulting in a wide range of cultural and economic values.In recent years,it has attracted the attention of the industry and the academic community.This article mainly discusses the operation mode of outdoor music festival from three aspects: evolution,mode formation and operation management.In this paper,the formation and development of outdoor music festival has experienced the transition from indoor to outdoor,and the change of style from classical to popular and pluralistic,and the change from "pure music" to "commercialization".China’s outdoor music festivals mainly form three modes of operation: specialization chain type,tourism and city brand type,music + industry type.The author points out that there are serious problems in the outdoor music festivals,such as serious homogenization problems and unsmooth industrial chains.Meanwhile,a series of solutions are put forward.Based on the analysis and discussion of the problems existing in the outdoor music festival’s operation mode,this paper looks forward to the development trend and Prospect of the outdoor music festival in China.
