| ‘Storytelling(Hu Ren-Ulger)’ is a form of folk art performance to the four-stringed bowed instrument or Morin Khur accompaniment by a Mongolian folk storyteller(Hu Erqi).Storytelling is a peculiar form of Mongolian folk art performance.Storytelling is formed at the end of Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty.It is widely spread in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,Heilongjiang,Jilin and Liaoning provinces where Mongolian settle.This paper takes Yang Tielong as the object who is one of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage inheritors of storytelling.It takes the field investigation,observation method,interview method to explore the historical background,construction model,common techniques and the function of storytelling in order to reveal the survival status of the storytelling artist in Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County and heritage protection problems.The thesis consists of four chapters,which are:The first chapter mainly introduces the social and historical background of the creation of Mongolian storytelling art.It analyzes the storytelling art from the perspective of the immigration of Han people to Inner Mongolia in late Qing and original Mongolian culture of Fuxin Mongolian history,respectively.The second chapter introduces the common construction modes and Storytelling skills which are frequently used by Yang Tielong in performing process,such as polite formula and improvisation.The using rules of polite formula and improvisation and its influencing factors are discussed.The third chapter focuses on the function of storytelling.This part mainly analyzes the influence of storytelling on the people in Mongolia from the perspectives of educational function,social function and entertainment function.The last chapter introduces the existing status of the storyteller and the protection and inheritance of storytelling.It mainly describes the survival status of storytelling artists and the predicament of the extinction of traditional storytelling art.It appeal to people from all walks of life and government agencies to rescue the national intangible cultural heritage together. |
