| This article mainly analyzes the theme of redemption in the book of Nie zi from the perspective of Benjamin’s "Ruins-Allegory Salvation" theory.Benjamin once described the aesthetic system of "Ruins-Fableries" by comparing the classical Greek tragedies with the Baroque tragedy,using "Ruins" as the outer shell and "Fables" as the means in the "The Origin of the German Tragedy"."Ruins" aesthetics this alternative modernity to the modern redemptive power.Pai Hsienyung ’s Nie zi is also a recourse of self-identity through writing in spirit of spiritual ruins and ruins of life,with unique brushstrokes,trying to redeem the homosexual youth group in reality.And to try to answer this salvation in the end is what kind of salvation.Is the identity of the orthodox patrilineal tradition? Or a rebellion? This article is divided into the following four parts from Benjamin’s Ruins and the Allegory of Salvation Aesthetics.The introduction mainly summarizes the previous research on Pai Hsienyung ’s Nie zi,the innovation and research methods of this article.The first part starts with the western Ruins theory,expounds the characteristics of the salvation aesthetics of Benjamin’s Ruins and the similarities and differences with the concept of Ruins in China.It systematically analyzes the "ruins" of why the homosexual teenagers in Nie zi lived in a dilemma.It is also necessary to face the Ruins of a spiritual breakdown,combine the text and the social background in Taiwan at that time,analyze how society and the family gave them pressure,and how they can make them feel the dual exile of spirit and live in such surrounding.The second part outlines Benjamin’s theory of redemption aesthetics on the ruins of fables and death,and uses it as a theoretical basis to analyze the presentation of different forms of parables in Nie zi.The death allegory in the novel is mainly manifested in two aspects.On the one hand,it is death of men and on the other hand,the disappearance of the lotus in the pool of lotus.The death allegory in the novel not only has multiple referential meanings,but also expresses the ultimate desperation by dead the hopeful things,and allows the protagonist to lead himself to the path of self-salvation in this ultimate desperation.The third part analyzes the connotation of the redemption aesthetics of Benjamin’s ruins and discusses the "father" and "son" from the two perspectives after the complete destruction of the external salvation means.In the other’s death,the characters of the novel gradually recognize themselves and reconcile themselves with each other through the transfer and release of emotions.Finally,it is clarified how the unique multiple meanings and fragmentation of the fable in Ruins RedemptionAesthetics and the novel pays attention to the active humanistic care of homosexual groups in society.And enthusiasm for the future of social inclusion. |
