| After entering the twenty-first Century,China’s national strength has been continuously enhanced,and the wave of "Chinese fever" has swept the whole world.With the extensive and deep cooperation between China and Thailand in the economic and cultural fields,the demand for Chinese teachers in Thailand has gradually increased.In recent years,the demand for Chinese teachers has become the country with the largest demand for Chinese teachers.Under this background,the study of Chinese teaching for Chinese learners in Thailand can provide a reference for a large number of Thai Chinese teachers.In addition,there are few studies on the teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and the action research on the teaching Chinese in Thailand is blank,so the study of this paper has great significance.As one of the Hanban sixteenth batch of Chinese volunteer teachers to teach in Thailand,The author works in Nakhon Ratchasima College.The author found some current problems of Chinese teaching in Nakhon Ratchasima College during the work:students lack of interest in Chinese class,absenteeism,late of the class,the Chinese level of the students from the same class is uneven.Therefore,the author follows the theory of action research,methods and steps to do two times of research,take the third grade students of Chinese Medicine Department of Nakhon Ratchasima College as the research object,in order to improve the students’ interest in learning Chinese,and to improve the quality of teaching.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter explains the reasons for choosing the topic,introduces the concept,methods and steps of action research,and makes a literature review on the current situation of education in Thailand,the application of action research in the field of education,and the application of action research in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The second chapter is the overall design of the action research,which mainly explains the research object,the research purpose and the research method.The third chapter is the action research on the first stage,the first practice,the practice of trying to use game teaching to improve students’ interest in learning so then improve attendance,the practice found that students’ interest in learning has improved,and the atmosphere of Chinese class is more active than before,also increased the attendance of the class.But at the same time,it is also found that due to the uneven level of Chinese in the same class,some students with poor level in the classroom get very little from the class.They only participate in the class but can’t learn too much.If the difficulty level is lower,the students with better level will feel bored.The fourth chapter is to solve the problem of uneven levels of students,the author plans in the second practice to try to improve the quality of teaching by grouping teaching methods,after the practice,the students’ enthusiasm for learning has been further improved,and the students with poor level have also begun to study actively.Through the analysis of the students’ scores and the comparison between the scores and the attendance rate,it is found that the group teaching method is effective to improve the students’ test scores.At the end of this chapter is the summary of the two times of action research,the effect and the shortage. |
