The Development Of The Questionnaire Of Contemporary Chinese Adolescents' Moral Values ​​and The Status Quo Research

Moral values are important reference points for understanding contemporary social moral standards and the development of individual morality.They have important influences on individual cognition,emotion and behavior.On the basis of systematically reviewing the moral values and addressing the deficiencies of existing research,text analysis and the self-designed "Adolescent Moral Values Questionnaire"were used to conduct in-depth analysis and discussion on the contemporary moral values of young people.The whole study consists twp parts:Study 1 put forward the"two-dimensional model of terminal moral values and instrumental moral values",and based on this,combined literature analysis,in-depth interviews,open-ended questionnaires,and prepared an initial questionnaire for young people’s moral values.A total of 723 participants were forecasted.The survey data was analyzed by item analysis and exploratory factor analysis.According to the results,the dimensions of the questionnaire and the formal items were determined to form a formal questionnaire.Subsequently,confirmatory factor analysis and reliability and validity tests were performed on the survey data.The results showed that:(1)The original theoretical model was confirmed.Adolescent Moral Values Questionnaire Including Two Dimensions.(2)The questionnaire is of good reliability and can be used as an effective assessment tool for young people’s moral values.Study Ⅱ used the self-made"Adolescent Moral Values Questionnaire" to explore and analyze the moral values of young people.Formal testing was conducted on 1242 participants,and after analysis of the measured data,it was found that:(1)The overall development trend of young people’s moral values is positive and presents the characteristics of diversity and utilitarianism,openness and modernity coexist;(2)There are significant differences in the types of moral values among adolescent groups with different genders,urban and rural areas,regions,and grades.
