language.In the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,the comprehensive lesson serves as the core curriculum of Chinese teaching.It involves the systematic knowledge of pronunciation,vocabulary,Chinese characters and grammar,and bears the important task of listening,speaking,reading,and writing the four language skills goals.As one of the linguistic elements in the teaching of comprehensive classes,Chinese characters have been lagging behind the other three elements.The reasons for this phenomenon are not limited to the teaching methods of Chinese characters,and the selection of Chinese characters in teaching materials is also very large.Relationship.To this end,this paper will study this issue and use three sets of comprehensive textbooks for《Developing Chinese》《Chinese Tutorials》and 《Boya Chinese》as research subjects,using Chinese characters for primary,middle,and advanced teaching materials.The analysis of the situation includes the total number of words used in the textbook,the total number of words,the grades of words,the analysis of the common use of words and the comparison of the selected three sets of teaching materials.The analysis and interpretation of the characters of the Chinese characters in the textbooks for the integrated Chinese as a foreign language The situation,including the rationality and deficiencies,finally put forward suggestions for the improvement of the selection of Chinese characters in the comprehensive course materials.After statistics and analysis of the data,we found that there are two problems in the selection of Chinese characters in integrated textbooks: the choice of word types is arbitrary;there is a large difference in the total volume of teaching materials and there is no uniform standard.Based on these two issues,we also conducted a cause analysis.We believe that the cause of the problem was first of all because the text was too topic-oriented and too many super-characters were selected.The second was that the teaching materials did not control the total volume in order to increase teaching content.Therefore,based on these issues,we have also proposed the selection of Chinese characters for the comprehensive course materials.The main point is:In terms of the selection of the types of words,we must first select the higher-frequency Chinese characters in the “Modern
