Analyze Mongolian Metaphorical Idioms From The Perspective Of Cognitive Linguistics

Mongolian idiom is the result of years of Mongolian culture.Mongolian idioms contain mongolian people’s experience,thoughts,hopes,love,hate and other contents,showing their unique charm.In 1880s,cognitive linguistics began to germinate in the west,and the research on various linguistic phenomena using metaphor theory and other new theories attracted people’s attention.But in our country,there are few works of Mongolian linguistics research based on cognitive linguistics theory,even less the study of Mongolian idioms.This paper aims to use the theory of cognitive linguistics research on Mongolian idioms.The paper classifies the manifestations of Mongolian metaphorical idioms,and studies of mechanism and cognitive characteristics of the generative understanding of Mongolian metaphorical idioms.In the introduction part,there are mainly the reof asons and research methods of topic selection,the current situation cognitive linguistics and Mongolian idioms.The first part mainly defines the scope of this research object.The criteria for defining the scope are based on the criteria of the scholars mentioned in the introduction and combined with the author’s view.The second part,this chapter studies on the classification of metaphorical idioms in Mongolian presentation.The third part,this chapter will generate the understanding mechanism of Mongolian metaphorical idioms into four categories are described.The fourth part of this chapter on the Mongolian metaphorical idioms cognitive features,semantic features and other aspects of the study.The last part summarizes the contents and achievements of this paper.
