The Use Of Henan Local Opera Elements In Zheng Music Works

Guzheng is a traditional Chinese plucked instrument with a history of more than one thousand years,it has been developed into various regional style,such as Shandong style,Henan style,Zhejiang style,Chaozhou style and Kejia style,due to the differentiation along with regional environment,language and culture,customs and habits,music style,etc.Throughout the development of Guzheng music,Guzheng music style of different regional has the traces from the drama music,and the influence of drama music on it has spread till now.The traditional Guzheng style from Henan is one of the regional music style,is closely related to the folk opera music and folk rap music,such as Henan Yu opera,Henan major tune and Henan opera.It is transplanted and adapted according to the chorus and accompaniment in the opera.After the founding of the People’s Republic of China,not only the performers actively created Guzheng music,but also the composers joined in the creation.They drew on the thinking and techniques of modern western composition,and integrated their creation along with the Chinese traditional music based on local opera elements,forming their own unique music vocabulary.Wang Zhongshan is the Guzheng performers of this era,who is creating the innovated Guzheng performing by the modern technique,and combined with music theory to create a rich diversity of different regional styles of modern Guzheng music including contains elements of Henan local opera,Peking Opera and Shanxi opera elements with Bangzi opera elements such as drama elements.This article "Look at the home town” is adopted in the Henan local opera elements.Thus it can be seen that the influence of local opera elements on the composition of Guzheng music is extremely important and significant.Two of Guzheng music with henan style have been analysed and studied in this article,including the traditional Guzheng music "Chen Xing Yuan He Fan" and the modern Guzheng music "Look at the hometown" created by Wang Zhongshan.Research is based on the theoretical analysis,deductive analysis and the application of local opera elements in Henan Guzheng music.As per the analysis of background introduction and music structure,the article focuses on the application and interpretation of Henan opera elements in Guzheng music,and analyses to interpret music from the perspective of performer.
