The Naked Sketching Incident In The Early 20th Century And The Modernization Of Chinese Art Education

This paper makes a systematic study on the addition of nude sketching course to Chinese art education in the early 20 th century and analyzes the influence of the appearance of nude painting and the setting of nude sketching course on the modernization of Chinese art education.Shanghai academy of fine arts employs nude models,which has caused many social controversies: whether China should introduce body painting in western art education,and what the enlightenment modernity of modern Chinese art education should be.In order to further explore the internal factors of these disputes,the author analyzes the concept difference of "nude sketching" in the eastern and western art education from the perspective of history,region and culture.Chinese art has always been to the human body shape is heavy god and not heavy.With the deepening of the cultural influence of the spread of western learning to the east,Haisu Liu and others want to reform the traditional Chinese painting curriculum.The reform reflects that modern Chinese art education is progressing towards modernization.In addition,this paper also elaborated the characteristic change of "nude sketching" in the modernization process of Chinese art education,which is mainly reflected in the teaching setting,sketching modeling and body consciousness.This paper attempts to define the modern connotation of nude sketching in Chinese art education,and points out the relationship between the integration of Chinese and western culture,traditional social education and the modernization process of Chinese art education.
