The purpose of any language teaching is to cultivate the all-round development of learners’ listening,speaking,reading and writing,aiming at the learners’ ability to complete the communicative activities in the second language.In reality,most communicative activities are realized through oral expression,which can not be separated from listening and speaking ability.From this point of view,it is more urgent to cultivate Chinese learners’ speaking ability.Fluency is the most important criterion to judge learners’ oral ability.Through the quantitative and qualitative analysis of fluency,we can judge learners’ oral level and output performance at different levels.Previous research on Chinese oral fluency is mainly a follow-up investigation of learners under the same task type.By summarizing and analyzing the data,the development process and rules of Chinese oral fluency in a period of time are summarized There are few comparative studies on oral fluency in different tasks.On this basis,this study attempts to compare the oral fluency of Chinese under different task types,to explore the effect of task types on oral fluency,and to find the best interface between task types and oral Chinese teaching The present study investigated the development of fluency of intermediate Chinese learners under different types of oral tasks,including "speaking with Pictures" and "answering questions" The comparison is made from two aspects: one is the comparison of the earlier and later stages of the same task type to observe the development of learners’ fluency;the other is the comparison of the fluency of different task types in the same period To investigate the effects of task types on oral fluency.Based on the results of the survey,some teaching suggestions are put forward to help Chinese teachers adjust their teaching strategies and students adjust their oral learning strategies Provide a basis for promoting oral output in a direction of fluency and accuracy.This paper is divided into seven chapters: Introduction introduces the background of the topic,research issues,research significance,research methods,paper structure and so on.Chapter one is a review of the researches on L2 oral fluency at home and abroad.The second chapter is about the experimental design and process of Chinese oral fluency measurement.According to the previous research,we determine the measurement index of Chinese oral fluency,and then design the experiment,including the subjects,experimental toolsand experimental content.Chapter three is the analysis and summary of the results of the oral fluency survey.It analyzes the oral fluency of Chinese learners from two perspectives.Chapter four analyzes and summarizes the factors that influence the oral fluency of Chinese.The fifth chapter puts forward some teaching suggestions to promote the development of oral fluency of Chinese learners.The conclusion summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of this study,and puts forward some suggestions for future research on Chinese oral fluency.
