As an important ideological category,"Tao" occupies an important position in the history of Chinese thought. The original meaning of "Tao" refers to the road.Later, through the continuous development and evolution of the meaning of the word,"Tao" has gradually been abstracted from specific meanings such as road and speech to the origin of all things and the principle of doing things. There are many theories about "Tao" in the pre-Qin period, such as Confucian Confucius,Mencius and Xunzi’s "Tao",Taoist Laozhuang’s "Tao" and Mohist Mozi’s "Tao",but the profound influence on the "Tao" in the Han and Tang Dynasties and the interpretation of Confucian and Taoist classics in this period is mainly embodied in the Confucian concept of "Tao" in the Five Confucian Confucian Classics and the Taoism of Taoism and Taoist Laozhuang’s "Tao".The Tao of Confucius(the Tao of Confucianism in Zhou Confucianism)also has its basic connotation in the Confucian concept of "Tao" of the Five Confucian Classics. As far as the Confucian Five Classics are concerned,Tao appears more frequently in the Five Classics of Poetry,Book,Rite,Yi and Spring and Autumn Period.Among them,"Tao" in the Five Classics has not only specific "Tao" such as roads and methods, but also rich ideological connotations of ethics, morality and equality in rule of law.As far as Taoism and the new Taoism of Han and Tang Dynasties(metaphysics of Wei and Jin Dynasties)are concerned,it mainly focuses on the elucidation of "Tao" in the metaphysical noumenon.Based on this,in the relevant content and chapters of this paper, the scope of its research is basically set in the Five Classics and Laozhuang literature. To be more precise, the title of this paper should be named "The Study of Han and Tang Dynasty < Spring and Autumn Period > in the View of Confucianism and Taoism’s"Taoism".This paper mainly takes the Annotations of the Spring and Autumn Classic and its three biographies of Han and Tang Dynasties as the research object, summarizes and summarizes the "Tao" in the Five Classics and Lao and Zhuangzi texts, separates their specific meanings layer by layer, and then extracts the concept of "Tao" as a fusion of Confucianism and Taoist classics,or further Abstracts the "Tao" which unifies the Five Classics and Lao and Zhuangzi texts.” The concept of "Tao" and its influence on the study of Spring and Autumn in the Han and Tang Dynasties are discussed. In other words, this paper first examines the conceptual meaning of Tao which governs the Five Confucian Classics and Laozhuang’s,combs and abstracts the conceptual meaning of Tao which is contained in these traditional classics, and at the same time, from the conceptual meaning of Tao,comprehensively examines some specific meanings which are manifested in different occasions and at different levels in the Spring and Autumn Annals. On thepremise, this paper focuses on the analysis of the conceptual meaning of "Tao" in elucidating the meaning of "Spring and Autumn" embodied in the classics and biographies of the Han and Tang Dynasties. The characteristics and the greatest innovation of this paper are based on the concept of "Tao" in Confucian and Taoist classics, especially the concept of "Tao" in Confucian and Taoist classics,to grasp the common interpretation of the three biographies of "Spring and Autumn" and their respective annotations of Han and Tang Dynasties horizontally and deeply, instead of exploring the differences of the texts on which they are based and the respective characteristics of the pre-Qin and Han and Tang dynasties.Specifically speaking,it is to use the deduced concept of "Tao" which governs Confucianism and Taoism classics to understand and vertically grasp the corresponding "Spring and Autumn Annals" and its interpretation in Han and Tang Dynasties, that is,to elucidate the "Spring and Autumn Annals" and its three biographies by means of ethics,self-cultivation and ruling the country,so as to further promote and develop the study of "Spring and Autumn Annals".
